After using it for a while, the StreamX X1 Pro continues to impress with its consistent performance and reliabilit
I been looking for TV box .thank for the review....to cut the cord...
Thanks for the demo, looks easy to set up and navigate.
I find that it's a decent box. Was quite impressed. I compared it to the superbox because I have 2 SuperBoxes but my girlfriend has a superbox and the StreamX X1Pro and I would have to say the superbox is a better box but the streamX gets the job done. Also I think the superbox TV guide setup is much nicer with two different EPG styles the classic and the new style.
Related but unrelated... I'm looking for a reasonably priced option for 4K Plex playback. I've been using a RasPi 3B for like 8 years now and it's on it's last let and has never allowed for 4K playback, only 1080. Any suggestions?
If you’re on a budget try the Walmart ONN 4K tv box. It’s on $20. Are you using a PC as the Plex client?
@@basicdadtech Well, my budget isn't that limited... Wouldn't want to bust a hundo if I can help it, though. I'm running plex server on a legit Unraid server tower at the moment.
I use a Nvidia shield with my Plex server on my PC and my Nvidia shield has no problems playing any 4k I stream including Dolby Vision and HDR rips
@@f2theab661 Hmm, it does look like the Shield TV might be a good fit. I'll do a little more research. Thanks!
How about emulation?
It can do some emulation but not really what it's purchased for.
6k play back ????????
LOL Yeah it's not 6k play back but it does look good.
Way too expensive. There's many many comparable options for half the proce.
If you don't mind Spyware you can find many for 1/3 of the price.
Such as? I'm open to best alternatives.
