  • To Mark the 50th anniversary of the start of the Second World War - some of London's Evacuees make an emotional return to The Rhondda in South Wales where they were sent in their hundreds to the relative safety of the Welsh countryside. However even there, they did not avoid the danger of German Bombers.

    Weird watching this as a native welsh person living in london imagine the fear they faced leaving there homes as small children

      I was going to say something extremely similar and I agree with you completely.
      It’s a real shame that it takes something bad to happen for people to form bonds.
      Us Humans are a funny bunch!
