But your mum is living example of how a diaspora mum can rehabilitate her great daughter from not to dissolve in bubble dreams of the western world. And make her love her country where she doesn’t need to be a minority all her life.
Also to you’re both living examples how to adopt the through life in our home land after long time of living in the western bubble lifestyle.
As I am agriculturist and horticulturist expert still living in western world.
I really admire how your mum took the advanced horticulture knowledge from western and with her humble sole . She is living on it and giving the knowledge to the others.
Lastly I thank you for your efforts keep doing and I wish if you add a bit more Hijabi “ although you are doing great now “

Waaw ...amazing tips to save water and introducing the rain water harvesting to hargaisa citizens,,,guys please share with all your somaliland groups even diaspora people will find it more convenient to come back ,,, the strange thing that I noticed once I arrived her was that the people here think that rain water is polluted and they complain about the oder that happens due to wrong way of storage,,,it was great that Ms Shamis had explained that we should clean the roof first also I prefer putting filter before the goes to the tank ...and filter for the drinking water....I would like to know if you experienced such a problem.....May Allah blesses be upon your family...have great Ramadan

Metal containers are okay but you'll need to use a uv protectant membrane to inhibit "ALGAE" growth caused by sunlight.

Alx hergeysa received rain last night, my city still haven’t seen rain yet and it’s gotten to the point that tribes are fighting over wells! May Allah grant us nabad iyo barwaaqo
A trick to saving water in the toilet would be placing a 2 litre bottle of water or anything that is heavy and with surface area inside the water reservoir of the toilet. This was fill it up with very little water and will flush your toilets. But your strategy seems to save more water but isn’t as efficient.

Thanks for the video but please think about the people who live near Abaarso, Gabiley and far places. a sip of water that wets their throats is sometimes not always attainable. I would recommend you to launch a water project campaign and deliver to those starving kids. Even a liter of water saves a child from a death in some places.

you must use a filter otherwise direct use of rainwater may create problems also ensure one pipeline is linked with underground water bore so that when the rainwater falls it will recharge ground water level

I think you maybe referring to algae. It grows in fish tanks and other water tanks because of direct sunlight and other factors

Where I live such a Tank costs 300 dollars only and people still complain that the price is too high. Tell me please, how many litres does a water Tank worth 950 dollars carry in your Country?
