Love how both Goku and luffy have indirect inspiration from Hanuman. Goku's character is inspired from son wukong of journey to the west who is said to be inspired from lord Hanuman of Ramayana.
This finale is very similar to Goku vs Majin Buu finale. The lanterns rising up into the air inspiring Luffy is like the people on earth offering up their spirits to power up Goku's spirit bomb. Then of course, Luffy's gigantic fist clashing with Kaido is like Goku's spirit bomb struggle with Majin Buu.
I hope at the end of the series we see Luffy's final giant attack make him planetary size and just throw a continent sized punch at the earth like Gongen Wyzen from Asura's wrath

Considering that in some sources or theories Kaidos Dragon form is estimated to be 2-4k kilometers long so comparing this scene, Kaidos merely as long as luffys fist.
