- Here is my (World First) Elden Ring One Shot Challenge run. I was able to successfully one shot all bosses in Elden Ring starting at level 1, and only leveling once for every successful one shot of a boss. The rules and One Shot Boss Challenge Details are in the pinned comment below. I hope to see more people doing this challenge as it is a lot of fun. Credit to Vageta311 for coming up with this format challenge back on the original Dark Souls Game. I am currently wrapping up a level 1 One Shot all Bosses challenge run, where I remain level 1 the entire game. That video will hopefully be out soon. I also plan to redo this One Shot challenge run, since buff stacking is so overpowered, I can do a lot more damage than was shown here in this run.

*RULES OF THE CHALLENGE* :
🌑 Must start at Level 1 (Wretch Class).
🌑 Must earn the right to level using the Points System.
🌑 Must play through normally, no save editing. Wrong warping is allowed, but only for items, all 🌑 Bosses and Minibosses normally required to progress the game naturally, must be killed at some point in the playthrough.
🌑 Earn the maximum amount of points in your first playthrough (NG).
🌑 One shotting a Legend/Main BOSS gives 2 points.
🌑 Two shotting a Legend/Main BOSS gives 1 point.
🌑 One Shotting a Mini/Field Boss gives 1 Point.
Use this list for what constitutes as a Boss vs Mini Boss (eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Bosses).
🌑 Anything that respawns does not give points for obvious reasons.
🌑Boss fights with multiple opponents allow for 1 hit on each to count for a "One shot". However you aren't allowed 2 hits on each boss for a "two shot" kill. In that situation, you must still one shot at least one of them to get the point (Godskin Duo).
🌑 Bosses with 2 mandatory Phases and shared Health bar (Fire Giant, Rennala, Godfrey/Hoarah Loux, etc.) counts as a double boss.
🌑 Bosses with 2 mandatory phases with Different names AND separate Health Bars (Radagon/Elden Beast, God-Devouring Serpent/Rykard, etc.) will still award one point if both bosses are “Two shot”, however both must be “One shot” in order to receive the 2 points.
🌑 Causing an enemy to fall off a cliff due to your attack counts. Purposely trying to make an enemy fall on their own does not count.
🌑 Single attacks with multiple hits count as one attack (ripostes, Burn o Flame, Pest Threads, Ashes of War with multiple hits per 1 press of R2, etc.) Since "one attack challenge" sounds lame, it is called the "one shot challenge".
🌑 When you reach a point in the game where you are stuck and can't progress due to not being able to take any of the remaining bosses down in 2 or less hits, the challenge is over.
🌑 The goal is not necessarily to win the game, it is simply to gain the most amount of points before you cannot make any further progress. This requires a bit of strategy and forethought as opposed to pure skill.
🌑 No, you may not summon a friend or use any spirit ashes, etc. Additionally, you may not join another player's game to complete a kill or have another player present in your game.

Nice man! Yeah he is a legend, he was the one that got me into souls games challenge runs with that 1 shot challenge. I became so obsessed with it, I was the only person in the world to finish it and 1 shot manus glitchless. Then I became the only person in the world to do the entire one shot challenge at soul level 1! Including one shotting manus at sl1

The methodology of your runs are very reminiscent of those old vageta runs. They showcase how game knowledge for Souls games (particularly DkS1 & Elden) can trump mechanical skill. I have always loved these games for this fact.
Being able to start fresh and use your knowledge of the game to collect presicely what you need in 15-30 min in order to blast the rest of the game is always so satisfying.

@@TitusActualGaming I definitely am. Level 147 still have a few more open world bosses in the mountains, along with Melania, fire giant, and everything after that.
Edit: also first from software game since ps1 kingsfield. Regrettably I admit, as I looked back on why I loved that game and it's similarities to elden ring.

Thanks for your video guides. What buffs did you use right before the Radagon and Elden Beast engagements? Also, in watching after you demolished Radagon, I only noticed that you replenished magica and RKR. What buffs carried you through the Radagon portion, and into the Elden Beast battle so you had the potential for so much damage? I am aware that RNG plays a role but discounting that, it would be helpful to know exactly what your buff routine was.

Awesome work bro! You've came a long way and you're definitely an underrated content creator. I definitely miss the old easy wrong warp with the perfumer's grotto, because after 2 new characters i still couldn't get the timing down. And you definitely helped guide my main(1st character) to nuking bosses. Was already a faith build hitting pretty decently but you helped fill in those gaps. Also, making 2 other characters that are non faith constantly makes me miss Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike 😅 Keep it up and you'll go far! \[T]/

Firstly, quality video as always. I missed this first time round so good to see it. Secondly, curious as to what your go to build is for your very first play through of these. I know you said you rush through but are you trialling certain things when you do or just a tried and tested build to get it finished?
So I actually ran a faith build on my first playthrough because I knew that the pyromancy spells were faith based in this game and historically pyro has always been really strong in souls games

Hoarfrost I don’t bother with. Night and flame are still viable and can do really good damage if used correctly

If you know everything what is the thing that breaks on the archway right after the crucible knight in storm veil castle. I found it on one of my 5 characters but couldn't on the others not sure why. It seemed to be invisible but breaks when you walk into it with like blueish energy.
I could imagine using this to help all the people who can’t beat certain bosses, they summon you in and you kill Radagon and the Elden Beast in probably 2 shots (since they get more HP during summons)

I'm on the last two bosses (Radagon and the Elden Beast). Guess I got spoiled one shotting all the previous bosses with Comet Azur. But I'm having the worst time trying to finish the game. Uggh!

Was this using the RKR bug ? It seems that way since you use it before casting ?
It was, but there is soooo much more buff stacking now. this challenge was the first week the game came out. You can do a lot more damage now. Check my buff stacking video on how to get 2000%+ more damage on patch 1.04 as opposed to the 80% from rkr
Did the Lightning Build still working? Can i use it for astrologer oh just for an Prophet?
Absolutely I just posted a video yesterday of the updated build starter guide, the build got buffed a bit in 1.07. This was a wretch for the level 1 challenge run, I would do a prophet or confessor. I used a prophet for the OP in 15 min starter guide for the build and for the endgame guide.

@@B0wfinger Any class could technically work, and astrologer is for a mage build though. You would have several wasted stat points but if you aren't trying to min max and you are going to dupe runes to level really high then it doesn't matter too much
I'm thinking of doing a video of my 3,000 shot challenge. Each boss takes 3,000 shots to down and then you get murked by a rat or dog almost immediately afterwards. 😐

This was just my challenge run. In the challenge you start level 1. You can only level 1 level per point you earn. You get a point from one shotting a boss. So you have to find ways to one shot bosses the whole game with minimal levels. But yes. ADLS is very strong. That’s one good takeaway

See THIS is one of the things that sets FromSoft games apart. These games can build personal character and real-world skills if you choose to allow it. I mean the skills and reasoning utilized by the guy playing here are skills that would translate favorably into real-world applications and scenarios. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see the same thing being true for the vast majority of other games. This might make me sound like a "fanboy" but honestly I don't consider it an insult in this context. The truth is I'm just extremely grateful for the folks over at FromSoft who make these games happen. We are luckier than we realize. Honestly without them doing their thing, those of us who are the type of people who become passionate about these games would have never experienced that mental and creative stimulation which turned out to be exactly what some of us were looking for in a video game all along.
I hope that makes sense, I just got off work and I've been up 2 days traveling so I do apologize in advance if it doesn't
Man I have been saying that about Minecraft and some of the other really mentally stimulating games that’s kids play. I literally use Minecraft as a 3d building design program for my pre schooler. Just give them basic plans with wall measurements and they literally go build houses block for block. It’s one of the many cool real world topics I’m covering on the new channel. I think from the sound of it you will love my new channel man you should come check it out!

@@TitusActualGaming there's point at which in the video where your total stats reach a maximum of 198 but it shows your level one (your vigor str, dex, int etc etc)
@@DylanWells830 mostly gear, flask, and talismans. I just finished the world first 1 shot challenge run staying at level 1, I have the full video coming Friday keep an eye out it explains everything!

I know there's the great rune that gives plus 5 to some levels so I get that just unsure of how the massive increase in levels came about
