I wish you would put this on a dvd .... or can i down load it to take to the dance hall as there is no internet at the hall ... Egils thank you for your hard work ....
Hi, TheJurelis1985! Thanks for question. I would suggest to start with Waltz Basic Figure Box step. Tempo you can learn by counting with Music Waltz timing: 1, 2, 3. Here is video (although more focused to directions of movement, there is also Counting) ruclips.net/video/DTSST-Az000/видео.html
I'm a little confused by your bronze level routine. Either the chasse to the L or the fwd lock near the end of the routine are missing from your video, but they're in notes of the figures. In one of the demonstrations of that routine the feet (at least of your partner) are in the locked position, but in the other they're not. I'm just pretty sure that one of those figures are actually missing from the demonstration. Please clarify. In general your videos have been very helpful and are clear.
+rareeallred Yes thanks for mentioning - there is missing Lock, and yes with music my partner danced Lock while I danced Chasse. Sorry for that. Now in videos I am trying to type figures not in beginning of Routines, but as they are danced. Hope this will help me avoid mistakes in future. Thanks for appreciating our videos! :) Egils
Hi Egils, I really appreciate your videos and I thank you for it. I have a question... I was told by my dance teacher that passing natural step and running finish steps in quickstep are same steps, one is just the technical term... I'm confused as they are totally different steps in your video... Would you be kind to explain the difference in those steps ?
+Akiko Matsu thanks for apreciating our videos. Passing Natural Turn usually starts from Promenade Position, but one can start also from facing with step forward outside partner. Running Finish Man starts backward. So if you change Man and Lady's steps - both figures are similar.
I just started a few weeks ago, my partner lost her old partner a while ago, there’s one problem though...... she’s gold, and I’m just starting, to make it easier, she’s moving down to silver, but it’s still a big jump for me, wish me, and my first competition is six weeks away, that may sound like quite a long time, but she lives on a farm so I can only practice with her once a wee, so that’s only six practices, and there only 45 mins long, wish me luck!!!!!
I am surprised you have started teaching in English, especially Quickstep - the most fauvorite dance of mine. You have my sympathy, please go on. *thumb up*

Quickstep Basic Routines
Hi!
I don`t know much about dancing at all. is there any videos that teach like the real foundation of dancing? Like how to get the feel of tempo?

is there a three step used in quickstep following spin turn
Hi Richard, thank for your question. In these Quickstep Routines after Natural Spin Turn we dance steps 2-4 of Back Lock. Hope it helps. Egils
