I really felt the limitations of my video making process with this one
There's so many aspects I don't like about this video. The camera work, the lighting, the editing. I'm trying to find ways to fix these problems and get these videos in a position where I'm happy with them

I couldn't believe that the 2nd pair of speakers on his legs rotate to a different mode. That shows the love and care put into these modern iterations. All shock, no talk.

Really like how Blaster's handles are implemented into his shins in a way they don't hinder his ankle tilts. It's one of my only gripes with Kingdom Galvatron, as the little support pieces he has in cannon mode limit his ankle articulation when properly transform. Of course you can have full tiltage if you have them flipped out in robot mode like a some sort of robotic version of Hermes' ankle wings, but it would've been neat if the pieces had a hinge joint in the middle so they can bend with the ankles. Maybe one day I rectify this issue myself once I get more confident at molding parts out of instamorph.

The best mainline G1 Blaster figure ever! Leaps and bounds better than the Titans Return toy and I'm glad Blaster got a new figure in the Kingdom/Legacy line. Great review, mate! Keep up the great work!
I love this figure, such a winner
I also use his weapon as an antanna in alt mode. And, people who fuss about the tape being clear makes no sense to me. How many clear casettes vs solid colored casettes were around in their time? Clear tapes were FAR more common. You don't fuss about this, but like EVERYBODY else does.
I bet most people don’t remember or just don’t even know
Most complaints I see on Eject being clear is about the longevity of the plastic as clear plastic is known to break easily when under stress, especially with ball joints; considering most of Eject’s joints are ball joints, I don’t blame them for their concern.
That being said, Eject feels pretty sturdy in hand, so long as he’s not manhandled like a child he should last a good while.

1:27 Looking at my copy, the buttons do have labels! They are sculpted on top of the button(s) and go from left to right: Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop
Yeah, I only noticed it when I was editing somehow, but I just left it in. Maybe one day I'll do a video about any mistakes I've made.

they really dropped the ball on releasing this figure with those windowless open packages. It took five finds before I could find one that still had eject with him. I get the feeling some people are stealing the little eject so that they can repaint it into rewind. I really hope Hasbro puts out the rest of blaster's cassette team.

If what I saw at 2:24 is what I think I saw (and it's hard to tell), Kingdom/Legacy Blaster still has labeled buttons...the symbols are just sculpted directly onto the buttons as opposed to below them.

I have both this version and the Twincast repaint. I love them both! Especially since I'm a fan of Japanese-exclusive versions of characters, the difference in the head sculpts (the Twincast version has the best expression between the two), and I am so happy to have both Rewind and Eject. Now if only we could get versions of them that aren't made out of clear plastic.... Or the rest of Blaster's cassette. Steeljaw, Ramhorn, Sundor, and Strips, specifically. I mean, they have the molds for Laserbeak and Ravage, just repaint them into Sundor and Stripes! Make a Buzzsaw while their at it! Seriously, why have they not done this?!
I dunno, they might make them for SS86 cause they’re gonna repack Blaster this year (without clear plastic I’ve heard 👀)

Allicons pretty cool, he’s really goofy and I like that, Snapdragon has a cool jet mode, I haven’t played with him a lot tho

I did picked up 2 still in their Box because it looked awesome... other than im not a Netflix fan, and would try not to support Netflix in any way..lol.but glad I pick them up. Yeah, I just checked and Rewind does fit in Soundwave’s chest, but he does get a bit stuck

I think the reason why blaster not come with rewind because they knew rewind is more popular so they use him so people buy the twincast version later in the final wave

A Rewind is coming with Shattered Glass Blaster. No for the other two, but Studio Series is doing Rumble, so they all could be added to that line too!

This figure looked good, but seeing this review makes him look great ngl. I fear for his cassette bot though, we've had clear plastic parts breaking for figures that came out in just the last two years, time won't be kind to this poor fuck that's mostly made of the stuff.
Yeah they probably should be careful with this stuff. The new weapons will probably be fine, but I’m gonna be really gentle with Eject

🥺Do not open Netflix Soundwave. I opened mine when I got it last year of course...I noticed some yellowing on the blue shoulder bits and other areas recently, more like a green effect on blue plastic. Being that it's worth like 150 now, some things are nicer in the box.
I knowwww once I saw the price I was like “damn glad I didn’t!” I woulda bought two if I found another but I never did. Luckily I just bought a loose one from a friend so I’ll have one for myself and one to keep valuable

1:21 actually if you want better weapon storage integration then you can plug blaster’s…blaster into one of the ports on the left or right of his back, making it look like an antenna for the boom box mode, this helps add something more to his glorified brick mode, at least for me.
Also I got the idea when I saw the reveals for the Blaster repaint that they’re making for legacy evolution, in which they did that exact thing.
We didn’t have that kind of technology last year lmao

That’s a cool update on Blaster! But it would be 100 times cooler if someone took a old Boom box that work’s and try to turn it into a Blaster Transformer with flashing lights and effects and also plays Cassette tapes and music from radio station in it’s Boom box form. I would pay atleast three hundred dollars for a deluxe Blaster. Too bad Hasbro would never come up with that idea.

Dude, as an audio engineer, how do you not know that "On/Off" was the volume knob on every portable stereo in the 80s and most car stereos up to the 90s. Just a little disappointed that you didn't research volume knobs before this. Lmfao.

@@Gei4Mei i was born in 81. Every am/fm radio up used only 2 knobs and no buttons and an antenna. And most portable boomboxes were still with thayt feature til at least 89. Almost every radio from radio shack at the time. Especially JVC and sony.

Anyway, about the hands, my copy arrived and the hands work fine, they click.
I like to put Eject on his "back" (the back you open to take blaster head off) holding one of the battlemaster (wrung). Also fun you connect eject on side of his legs like is taking a ride on Blaster's Legs xD
Blaster is really fun. Although some repoerts of yellowing on the keyes and is... well... gray part near his dick. xD
People report some really bad yellowing but I never seem to have that big of a problem with mine

I say this because what you said about the hands not clicking .
Comparing to Kingdom's Tracks, which was a full on shitstorm on quality control. ... My Tracks is just fine. He has no issues at all, presented and complained by so much reviewers. And he actually is one of my favorite of Kingdom line.
I already ordered my Kingdom Blaster, so ....let see if the hands will plug or not.. :)
I definitely think it’s intentional, but let me know what happens. My Tracks is a little floppy tho. And its a shame cause he’s like a 7 or 8 but since he such has common problems it sours him for me
I know the UK game store GAME got him for £15 but for the life of me, I just refuse to buy him! I know the toy itself is good but I just was just never interested in him as a character! When it come to cassette players, I am always on team Soundwave!
