You know its super plot armor when in all 3 previous stages of that race, todoroki was leading by a mile easily. Todoroki should have finish before those other student even reach the 3rd stage.

Deku using his brain and comming ul with all these strategies are just awesome. Kind of the main reason why I think he shouldn't have gotten ofa, at least not so early on in the series to show off his iq and that he can actually do something even without a quirk. If I had to choose, I'd say the best time to give Deku ofa would've been during the Kamino arc. All-Might would choose him after he manages to save the Koda from Muscular, and after seeing his shattered resolve after falling to save Bakugo, All-Might would see him as the perfect successor and maybe give him ofa before he goes to the Kamino raid in case something goes wrong, and it would make the "You're next" scene both a passing of the torch scene and the reveal to Deku being the All-Might chose successor.
How would he save Kota if he didn't have one for all Actually how would tsu survive without him there to punch Nomu? Todoroki use his flames if deku couldn't block his hits? Iida survive without deku's full cowling in the fight against stain? Not to mention if deku would even make it there to fight stain Deku survive fighting all might in the final exams? Actually how would he even get into ua If he didn't have a quirk? Cause the time he had not using it sure went to waste He was given one for all at the right time

If we saw him struggle and pull of the same feats, or different more creative solutions to these problems would've been what made us, the audience, support All-Might's decision more
