Small tip , use a old car tag and bend it in the curve of your rim. Can use it to act as a shield to protect your rims while you spray the tire shine. Will help with clean up.

I use a applicator or towel to get all that extra shine off and into the tire seems help a lil with the sling off

If you're getting "tire sling" it means you're using too much tire dressing. Try using just HALF as much tire dressing as you sprayed on in this video and your tires will still shine just as much, but won't sling off. Same applies for most cleaning products, people apply too much thinking it will work better/faster and it just goes to waste.

I use 303 Marine UV Protectant, I've seen video's on CoverAll Tire Shine That I'm looking forward to try.
