@@neesaelc4648 Yes, it's very safe. The town is small, and if you stay inside the town proper, you can even walk from the railway station to your hotel.
A very lovely town, the scenery, the cycling culture, the quiet and slow life, you are so lucky to stay there. And the people are lovely and accommodating. I even got invited by a lovely family to visit their home, and they welcomed me with delicious food that day. Very lovely, and always missing it.
