  • ⁣It's important to realise quickly how your opponent is reacting to your attacks.

In this fight footage you can see me throw a low kick to test out what he does. If you notice he attempts to catch my leg (this is a huge no, no against a low kick). A few moments later I throw another to see if it's a habit or merely a one off occasion, as you can see he tries to do it again. ⁣

My next move is to bait him in to thinking I’m going to attack leg again. I use my eyes to make him think I'm going for a low kick (you can see my head tilt slightly in the video) but instead of going low I switch the kick up to his head to score a ko. ⁣

Remember to analyse how your opponent reacts, many of their reactions will be habits and these habits can used against them. ⁣

It's incredible because its sixh a stupid thing to do, to lower your hand like that amd lead yourself exposed. But I've been learning chess, playing against the computer, and I started to find that when I lost, the reason was often not due to some profound pr complex problem.... it was usually due to a dumb mistake... something obvious like, moving a rook right to a space am enemy knight was covering. I start to see, your ability to be in the present moment, to see clearly, and to avoid stupid mistakes.... it's so simple... and yet it happens all the time. How many knockouts in the ufc I see, the guy wasn't protecting his chin. That's just basic boxing 101.
Great video. Not only about not being dumb, but also being watchful enough to see the oppertunities and openings in real time.
