I've edited this too many times so RUclips won't let me do more but the Tantric Dakini Oracle should say Nik Douglas (author) and Penny Slinger (artist)
I love your video and your vibe. I will love to watch some deep dive into the Margarete Petersen's deck as I struggled with the cup suit. BTW, the Tarot of Vampyres is not my thing for some reason, I got the deck and read through guidebook but the imagine doesn't get me excited to look at, lol...I drew the Prince of Knives a few times which freaked me out when looking at the imagine...🤣I have to admit, the guidebook was great summary of numernology, astrology, tree of life beyond many books I've read.
So many decks I agree with and go deep with! Trimmed my first copy of Mary-El, sold it, and then bought it again. Will never trim it. You’re tempting me to trim my Woodland Wardens deck though!
@@tarotshrink Actually ... I don't think the Woodland Wardens deck is necessarily better off without borders. The borders are just way too big. Compare the Andrews McMeel Publishing edition it's German version by Königsfurt Urania / AGM Urania (see Maragrete Peterson Tarot) ... and I guess you'll see what I mean. [If you wanna do the comparison on YT use "Woodland Wardens GATE 34 /7" to search for a video by German reader Mimi.]
Absolutely outstanding coverage. Thoth is the complete package. I don't personally have a lot of time for Crowley (Liber 777, Book of the Law, and others ) whose written works reveal what a junkie he was, but the illustrations in the deck by Frieda Harris are surely spiritually inspired. She is the heroine of the story. Great video and thank you for your upload!
I think many feel wildly different about Crowley and apart from his negatives I think we can all agree there is genius in the deck. And yes, Frida Harris art is beyond her time! Amazing.
Lovely vid. I also run from the woodland wardens and the nicoleta. Love Lucy and Alana. My most indepht oracle. And Brian Froud. ❤❤❤ dont use it much because I believe its so powerful. Les Vampyres I really love. I use it solo for my connection with The Morrígan. I even have two. To be sure 😀.
I found you and this tag through Patsy T Intuitive and her VR recently. I have several of the decks you mentioned and agree with many of your sentiments. I also love 😍 the Klimt Tarot.. but then im obsessed with his art work. I will have a go at this tag a bit later in the week. Pleased to meet you here ❤
I loved seeing your list! I also adore the Faeries Oracle (Raecine recommended it a few years back!) and I'm very keen to get my hands on the Goddess of Love Tarot. xoxo
My woodland wardens looks just like yours! Definitely made the same design choices you did! I left it untrimmed for the longest time because I love a nice large deck but it’s just so so good trimmed. It actually inspired me to trim other decks that I feel have unnecessary borders. Kinda sent me onto a deck trimming kick lol😂😅
So glad I found your channel! Your videos are wonderful. I have several of the decks shown in this video; and yes The Everyday Enchantment Tarot truly is a gem. It holds a special place in my heart.. Poppy was such a gifted person. Very missed... ❤
i just got my goddess of love tarot and i have to confirm that it is INCREDIBLE. that‘s the deck i always wanted. that‘s what i wanted at 20. gabriela herstik knocked it out of the PARK. to have something like that at that pricepoint, priceless. i‘m happy that people are gonna have this deck in their life. ❤
I have The Shadow and Light Oracle and The Les Vampyres I also have Magick of You and am planning on getting the Magical Botanical Oracle. This is a joy to watch❤😊
Love your choices - I have quite a few of them and have to agree. I have not been able to connect with Kim Kranz’s work, which is a little disappointing as they are classic decks. Tantric Dakini has been on my wish list for ages and you have persuaded me to purchase!
In the 40+ year of working with Tarot, my favorite mass market decks are Thoth, Mary-El, Tarot of Transformation, Osho Zen, Transformational Tarot, Light Seers Tarot, Victoria Regina Tarot, Tarot of the Dark Wood and the Robin Wood Tarot. I would add the Dreamkeepers Tarot but the chemical offgassing of these cards kept them off my list. I don't have much of an opinion on oracle decks because for the most part they don't appeal to me. Exceptions are the Tao Oracle and the Astro Star Codes. I like the idea of approaching some tarot decks as oracles because some have such distinct systems they hardly relate to Tarot. Voyager Tarot and Spirit Keepers Tarot fall in this category for me. Thanks for sharing your collection. I'm tempted by the Margrete Petterson deck and the Wild Uknown Archetype (except I find her art style uninspiring). I also liked your comments about the Dreams of Gala deck - but really detailed imagery can be overstimulating.
I must agree the Froud's Faeries has never been surpassed. Thin cards but they hold up. I also saw that Mary El is on the map of Russia. It's a Republic of the Mari people. A deck I rarely use, but will not part with.
When I saw your story last night I thought "I bet she's going to therapy school"! I've been a therapist for a decade, and we can sense our own 😂 Everyone I know who went to Pacifica loved it!
@jessreadscards you'll be great! I'm sure you already have folks to talk to about therapist stuff. But if there's anything I can help with feel free to reach out 😊
I really must check out some of the decks that you mention. Do you have a walk through or an in depth review of the dakini? I love so many mass market decks that maybe i will make my own very first video, 😂😂 but i do loveeeee tarot of the vampires by ian daniels but i can see how it might not be for everyone.
I love favorite videos, was surprised at a few of the decks you picked. The Tarot of the Vampyres alway on my list, but you talked me into reordering Wild Unknown (this might be the 4th time) I am really being pulled to decks from a few years ago, not feeling anything for most of the newer ones. Just pulled out all my Lucy Cavendish decks a few weeks ago they are all just as good as ever. Top favorite right now is the decks your going to show tomorrow but it feels old (like a part of you that has returned home) V xxx
Some of your gems would be in my choices to . I’m debating whether I need the Margaret Peterson deck 😊 I’m starting some deep inner work and when you showed it on your shadow work video I thought it might be time to bring it in my collection
I do own a good majority of these decks; they’re all beautiful in their own way. I don’t have the muse tarot though…I love the color of the edges- did it come with that? Or did you edge it that color?
@@tarotshrink oh I’ve splurged plenty, haha. A little too much. No regrets though! ; p I do have the Goddess of Love tarot. I actually edged mine today with a soft grey blue distress ink color. It looks so nice 😁

Yes it’s been holding up so damn well. I think some of us (me included) judge too fast.
It's unreal how much a first edition thot sells for. I saw listing for up to 7500 usd!
