I cannot wait for your walkthrough of The Nameless One! 🖤 I got the deck and the grimoir a couple of months ago, and it certainly is very special and deeply magickal 💫✨ Really looking forward to hearing your take on it 🥰💖
I believe it's the same oracle deck she had in the indie Kickstarter Relative Tarot and Spirit Oracle. I compared mine to this oracle and the cards I've seen look to be the same.
To me, personally, I wouldn't say it's redundant. It is an oracle and typically oracles expand on the tarot. However, that is highly subjective I have found. There are some very popular oracle decks I just can't work with because the keywords are too similar to the energies of the major arcana (Roots and Wings comes to mind). I just pulled two oracle cards (Theatrics and Radiance) from this deck to clarify my two tarot I pulled and it was quite useful.
The Beloved Dead oracle looks very interesting - it might pair well with the Vintage Wisdom Oracle. I'd love to see a walkthrough of it. So glad that you are enjoying the Nameless One - it's definitely an investment, but a worthwhile one. I admit I struggle with the court cards, but I love everything about it, including the big-ass book! I find that I use the oracle portion more, which surprised me. So much effort went into it - would love to see a deep dive on it as well.
I've been so tempted by the Solitary Witch, but I'm still on the fence. Would love it to be in the members' reading list so I could get an idea of what the messages are like in the guidebook - like you some of the keywords work, others I have no idea about.
I have had that Nameless One deck in and out of my cart so many times! I cannot wait to hear more about that one. It is friggen gorgeous! That book is EVERYTHING. Damn it Lisa....giggles. You are going to push me over the edge again...:P You got so many great decks and I am so here for this...lol
Dumpster fire as tower card is a must in this post pandemic world. I am adding it to my list for this card alone but I’m sure there will be more to discover and show what it has to offer 😢😂😮
I'm so excited you got the Nameless One! I had mine imported a couple of months ago and it's my most expensive deck yet. It would be awesome if you used it for your upcoming Live Reading! I can't wait to see your deep dive! A deep dive of the Northern Animal would be very much appreciated as well, since I'm gonna get mine tomorrow and always love to see your take on things.
Dear Lisa, Thanks for sharing this video. Actually, I loved the Judgment card in the Northern Animal deck, because it reminds me the beautiful metaphor of the Lover and the Beloved or the divine source and the human being in Islamic mysticism (Sufism): The moth and the flame. The moth falls love in the flame feeling an irresistible call. When they approached the flame too much, they disappear in love and unity, which indicates a spiritual awakening in Sufism. It is very similar RWS symbolism for both has the concept of death, the end of the earthly existence, and seeing the Divine source.
So excited about the Beloved Dead. Just started my journey with it, in combination with Ancestral Tarot book. This deck next to The Darkness of Light, is perfection!!
That Weiser deck has been on my wishlist for a long time…you can actually “hear” what the cardstock feels like…if you have enough decks..you “know”! I may have to finally breakdown and get it…i only have maybe 2 true clones
wow just found a copy online of the wild messengers book w card set for under $30!!!! So happy...Thanks for talking about this deck again-it's why I went back online looking for it-Yeah!
I look forward to your video on The Nameless One. I would also like to see a walk-through of The Belived Dead. I gave my original RWS deck to a colleague interested in Tarot, but I may do better with The Weiser Tarot. I want to support more diversity in deck imagery and also deal with any feelings it may bring up regarding unacknowledged privilege and internal biases I have.
I wish they would reprint the wild messengers so badly (for the guidebook) that I was considering buying a $150 version on ebay..... Also, if you had to decide between Solitary Witch and Practical Magic, which would you pick?
Yay! So happy you completed the alchemical messengers mod! I started the Path of the Moonlit Hedge. There are exercises in it so I’d love to read it again with the unicorn fam.
I also got the spring waite in the sparkles edition. I love RWS clones. It's so colourful and all the rainbows got me! Sorry you don't love the bag! lol. I thought it was lovely. I can't wait for the Halloween deck! 🎃🦇
Yesss!!! Can't wait for their Halloween deck!!! I have their Groovy Waite sparkles and their Trippin Waite Stars Edition. Love the unique finishes they come up with. The Winter Waite Glitter Edition is also stunning in sunlight.
@@tarottarantulas wow you have many of their decks!! I love the finishes too. I think they do a great job. I got their winter waite redux in sparkles ✨ I can't wait to see what they'll offer for the Halloween deck!
I love how our styles are mostly so different but I can still find decks to add to my list by watching your vids 😅 Weiser is one I've wanted to check out for a while but Beloved Dead is completely new to me and very enticing!! I'm on the fence with Sirens Song and Millennial but they do call to me as well hehe
That Millennial Tarot looks fun (the avocado era😆) but I wish it could be a little smaller! same for the Oracle size some are huge 🤪 Thank you Lisa love the video 😻
The beloved dead is somewhere in the postal system, i cant wait to take a flip through it and see how it goes with the relative tarot. I agree the nameless one book is very nicely produced 😊
I have the first edition northern animal deck and I love it. I agree about the Spring Edition. I want the non sparkle edition because I think it would be fun to mix with some of their other editions like the hippie one.
My only issue with the Weiser Tarot is the green skies of the Pentacles. Growing up in the Midwest USA, green skies mean dangerous storms and tornados! I'm working on getting past that, but it's a thing for me. I really like what you did with the Wild Messengers Alchemical Tarot. It's still on my wish list. I may do something similar to what you've done if I ever get it. I went back and forth about the Moonchild/Shadow Moonchild for a while now. Then I found Mixtress Rae's card by card comparison video of the original Moonchild and the Muse Tarot. I realized in virtually every card I preferred the Muse Tarot, which is mass market and I already have. I watched several Shadow Moonchild walkthroughs, and I still feel confident in sticking with the Muse Tarot that I already have. The purple of the Shadow Moonchild almost swayed me though... 😊 I just might have to back that Halloween Tarot. It looks like it's gonna be right up my alley. I've already got the original Halloween Tarot and the Trick or Treat Tarot, but can you really have too many Halloween Tarot decks? 🤣
I LOVE the Weiser RWS deck. I gifted the one that Jillian Wilde did because I didn't get on with it. Another GREAT RWS that I really love, is the one that Jamie Sawyer did. It has the astrological symbology, the color is great, and you can see Jamie's style. The Moonchild Shadow edition is beautiful, and I love using it!! And, the Nameless one, is amazing. I don't get on with the courts, though. When I saw the zodiacal associations, I thought cool this will help until I realized that they didn't align with the RWS associations. So, I thought, Thoth? But they don't seem to always align there either. I really hope that you do a full walkthrough, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts around that...Thanks!
I’m excited to see your take on beloved Nameless One , which came , out in the middle the plague. The tome is beautiful produced even to the point it binding allows the pages to lays flat. It’s used monthly as I like to use them as altar cards, along with Cosmo Majors, Living Altar, Zodiac Moons by Athena I managed to snap up a copy Wild Messenger & book last week, after loosing hope on the reprint, I think the artist and book writer had a falling out which is why Reprint have vanished into obscurity.
Well, wow! That's quite an impressive collection! Such pretty decks! Agree that the Spring Waite is bit too sparkly! And I like sparkles. The Nameless One deck and grimoire is quite a masterpiece! Thanks for sharing these gems.
Interesting about your Fournier deck as I bought one a few weeks ago. I’ve been getting absorbed by cartomancy and this little deck was less than £5 on uk Amazon!

I bought the Weiser tarot last year and felt the same. I fell in love and made my tarot friends buy it. lol There is a sticker book of this deck images that is coming out October 16th for journalling. 25000 stickers// 32 complete sets of all 78 cards.
What parts of it are AI? I'm not interested in this deck because it's way too busy for my tastes but that's a bummer. AI is so soulless. And if you're using AI trained on other people's artwork to create artwork for your cards, then aren't you basically stealing other people's work and not bringing anything much of your own to the table except ideas, which are a dime a dozen? It's ethically dubious and I'm glad places like KickStarter are changing their policies to require disclosure when AI is used in creative projects.
I think it might be interesting to see a video about working with Oracle decks that don’t have typical key words/phrases, like the solitary witch Oracle
Yay, i always love these videos! It's so fun to see people's different preferences when it comes to aesthetics. I love the art of the Solitary Witch but hate the backs 😂 they do fit thematically but they're so stark and uninteresting to me! I loved that you had some lovely nostalgic feelings for them. Also I LOVE those playing cards! I don't do playing card divination but my husband has gotten more into wanting to learn card games and I've gotten a few cool decks for him to have. Tomorrow I should be getting my Pagan Otherworlds deck in and I got the Uusi Pagan Playing Cards for him as well. There's also a RWS playing card deck by US Games that seems really cool too. But ahhhh I love those distressed looking cards. I'd never seen the Northern Animal before, I love anthropomorphic animal decks so gonna keep an eye on that.
The Sirens’ Song! 🧜🏼♀️ I’ve been holding off since I just got the Cute Little Lenormand a little while ago (my first Lenormand!) but once I get a better hold on Lenormand I think The Siren’s Song will be a great step further into Lenormand and onto Kipper 😁
What did you think of the card quality of the Sirens' song? I've seen some people online saying it is terrible, but others saying it is great/fine. I know you always say you're a "cardstock snob", but noticed you didn't really comment on it. Thanks!
Good question! I don't love the cardstock. It's matte with a finish that lets it slide/shuffle well, but feels like it doesn't have much 'snap back' so I think it will hold a bow pretty easily, that kind of thing. It's fine for a mass market deck, but not spectacular.
Omg as soon as I saw you pull out The Sirens’ Song I was like… “Tara don’t point out the absolute nightmare fuel the child card is…” and when you said it I felt so validated lol! 🐙 Other than that such a beautiful deck 🌴
I would love to see a full walkthrough of the Beloved Dead Oracle. It looks like it could be a really interesting tool. ❤
Agreed! It seems it would go beautifully with the Tyldwick Tarot. I recently got the anniversary re release and would love something to pair with it.
I couldn’t agree more!!! I feel like I have so many questions
Words I never thought I'd hear Lisa say, 'It's too sparkly'!!! Pigs are flyin' and hell has frozen over, ya'll 😂😊

Sorry… I’m laughing that in Northern Animal’s judgement card… the moth going to the flame BUGGED you. 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Lisa! I’d love a walkthrough of the beloved dead. ❤
The Nameless One (and it's MASSIVE companion book) is such a underrated deck imo, it's so good and well thought out.
I LOVE that, I do struggle with the courts, though, and her astrological associations w/the courts.
I'd love to see The Beloved Dead compared to the Relative Tarot. I haven't gotten the Beloved because it seems redundant to Relative. Thanks
