Beginning of this Winter Season has been ironically difficult to get into celebrating the truth of our existence. ...I've had my heart and mind crushed by the state of our world (endless war, political anarchy, global pandemic ruin to heath, familial loss in forced abstention, small business decimation in the municipalities in which we live reigning havoc on our human tapestry, not to mention the trashing of the planet and our oceans) yet I am finding Hope in being Kind and Loving, empathetic towards more of those I'd failed to consider up to this very moment! My Bad! I Own My Part and have begun to Seek the ways to correct my ways, amending old callous manners of thinking, acting, behaving, in such selfishness! I am composing this note to acknowledge my intellectual view in a manner to allow the Beauty of Life to be Alive in Me this Season. Calling it the Season of Change! 'cause I live on the only known planet in our vast universe with intelligent life. I choose to see the Great Astral Conjunction of Planets as evidence of the humankind's interest in Wonder and Inquiry and pursuit of understanding! I choose to see the natural world wonder of Creation in the Winter Solstice eruption on Hawaii Island at Kilauea's Halemaumau Crater as indicative of how life came to be upon Our Earth! I choose to acknowledge Indigenous Wisdom as Greater than I thought could've been possible! Being from the Aina (born on Oahu) not Kanaka, identify as Kama'aina and had to acknowledge my ignorance to find Hope! Looking beyond myself to Find Myself! I Hope and Pray that wherever you're from that You connect with this Idea of Greater Wisdom.
