But this interpretation is very concise, while the original is a lot more vague. This is the few grievances I had for not knowing Japanese enough to watch this series raw and appreciate all these tiny linguistic details perfectly tuned to give you just the right amount of clues.
Oh and just to add, usually in verbal Japanese they don't really mention the person in the subject (I/you/we/they) or even the object (me/you/us/them) in a sentence, the subject/object is usually assumed to be known / can be interpreted in context and they just don't speak them out loud in the sentence.
One of the fun things about a mystery in a well done fantasy world: you aren't going to figure it out right away. Guaranteed. Logic will only take you so far when you don't even know the rules by which the world works.

this first episode is LIT! alsoo do you plan on watching the OVAs, most of them are just silly fillers, but there's a lot of important info you can get! they were released between 2013 and 2017, but the highlight would be Levi OVAs "No Regrets", you can get to know more about his story, which will be important in the future
AOT is 100 percent a fair mystery. if you pay attention to the details you can figure out its mysteries and secrets very early. even its greatest twists are spelled out for you with breadcrumbs and foreshadowing.
I don’t know if I agree that it’s “100% fair”. There’s a lot of great foreshadowing and crumbs that make sense in retrospect, but there’s also a lot of important plot points that revolve around facts that the viewer has no way of knowing or predicting because of the supernatural elements.
If that one titan is inside that one thin section of the wall and that was Wall Sina, the smallest of them in terms of perimeter, imagine how many Titans there could be along all the three walls + the ones from the four districts within each wall's external section
There's a misunderstanding with what Carla is telling Eren. She isn't telling him to treat her better. It's similar to what Carla told Mikasa in the very first episode of the series. She told Mikasa to look out for Eren because of how he can be. and to protect him.

I'm still blind and clueless regardless of rewatching Season 1. It doesn't mean I picked up on anything new that I didn't already suspect on the first watch. It just gave me more evidence to back my theories in my S1 outro. Again just because I had a re-watch, which I am sure EVERYONE did ahead of S2 of AOT due to the large gap between the release, doesn't mean I know what's going to happen going forward nor does it ruin my react or make it less shocking :)
I've been banned from watching the intros and outros because people were worried that I'd figure things out too quickly if I do as they apparently foreshadow future events :') So I'm holding off to film a react to all intros and outros once I've watched the show!!

Awesome! I hope you also cover Lost Girls Part 1 and Part 2 (not Part 3!) between Seasons 2 and 3. A lot of reactors completely miss them, or put them off till later when they’re no longer worth watching. They are incredible episodes and pretty critical to understanding a certain character. And they were released between S2 and S3, so they fit very well there storyline wise.

AOT is 100 percent a fair mystery. if you pay attention to the details you can figure out its mysteries and secrets very early. even its greatest twists are spelled out for you with breadcrumbs and foreshadowing.
I don’t know if I agree that it’s “100% fair”. There’s a lot of great foreshadowing and crumbs that make sense in retrospect, but there’s also a lot of important plot points that revolve around facts that the viewer has no way of knowing or predicting because of the supernatural elements.
If that one titan is inside that one thin section of the wall and that was Wall Sina, the smallest of them in terms of perimeter, imagine how many Titans there could be along all the three walls + the ones from the four districts within each wall's external section
yeah... Mike's death was truly a moment we experienced... it was really... really. Yeah.
Gosh it still shocks me every time.
There's a misunderstanding with what Carla is telling Eren. She isn't telling him to treat her better. It's similar to what Carla told Mikasa in the very first episode of the series. She told Mikasa to look out for Eren because of how he can be. and to protect him.

His rashness leads to him being mean to her at times, we've seen that time and time again. So that does not negate my point. God forbid language and actions have nuance 🙄

I don't disagree with you. When Eren is angry at Mikasa, he doesn't treat her nicely and he should regardless of mood.
But I made a mistake telling you that original comment of mine. I forgot this memory of his happens twice in this season, this is just part of it the rest happens later. I thought because of editing some of the memory was cut. That's why I said what I said. Because of my mistake I unintentionally made a comment that's a spoiler. For that I'm very sorry and it won't happen again and I will be more careful in the future. You have the right to know about this mistake of mine. I'm still blind and clueless regardless of rewatching Season 1. It doesn't mean I picked up on anything new that I didn't already suspect on the first watch. It just gave me more evidence to back my theories in my S1 outro. Again just because I had a re-watch, which I am sure EVERYONE did ahead of S2 of AOT due to the large gap between the release, doesn't mean I know what's going to happen going forward nor does it ruin my react or make it less shocking :)

@DrSophieDarlingReacts well this season's ending in particular contains very out of context stuff that only one person in a million could make sense of, and it's very fun seeing reactors come up with theories off it and satisfying when the "aha" moment inevitably comes later on. But I understand that you might be a bit too smart 😅

Awesome! I hope you also cover Lost Girls Part 1 and Part 2 (not Part 3!) between Seasons 2 and 3. A lot of reactors completely miss them, or put them off till later when they’re no longer worth watching. They are incredible episodes and pretty critical to understanding a certain character. And they were released between S2 and S3, so they fit very well there storyline wise.
