Story about the Legendary Javelin Thrower Uwe Hohn and how he forced the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to change the Javelin rules.
🕊 I was at the stadium during the meeting. The throw looked amazing 🕊
That’s so cool!
Juiced to the max.
110%.
That's why they changed to rules to only allow non-juiced javelins now.
Juiced and jacked
As absolutely all athletes ...ever.
@@usernameRikaNonsense, not all.
@@johnmc3862 you sir, are naive.
Miguel de la Cuadra Salcedo throw the old javelin to 112,30 meters in 1956. That's the record that will stand forever.
Yes! With the rotational style, unfortunately records set with that style don’t count as official record since the IAAF banned them - so this is the farthest “official” javelin throw record :)
2:11 was that man impaled?
yes i watched it live in TV
True Bo
Why is that whenever a video of a great athletic performance is posted about fourteen people immediately jump on with comments of "juiced!" "doped!" "jacked!" as though they are making some profound point that no one has ever thought about before? 🤔
They threw the javelin 20 meters further 100 years ago.
I think you’re talking about the Spanish style in 1956 where they throw the javelin by spinning like how they would throw a discus!
While it’s true that this method reached 114 meters, the IAAF didn’t recognize this record and banned the technique.
I have a video on that technique if you want to check it out:

Having a robot narrate is cheaper than hiring a human.
Are you suggesting I should use AI instead of using my voice? 🥺
Nothing like it. Their are some AI preachers that thing their whole personality revolves around AI.
Did they time the javelin over 100 metres??
Wdym by time? In javelin throw they usually only measure distance!
When doping was not tested 😂😂
Today everyone has a "prescription" for some "condition", so testing is literally useless.
