The Ideas Saturn V remains, to this day, one of my Favorite LEGO sets. I really want to buy the Artemis, but I can't afford it just yet.
But this video is very helpful for determining how space the Artemis takes up comparatively. I want to have eventually a whole shelf dedicated to NASA and other Space Agencies.
I would love to see more of this comparisons
Thanks for the comparison, I really enjoyed this quick (yet detailed) style video
Great episode Jang. This is what reviews should have included; it really puts it into prospective.
As a huge fan of the Apollo, I want to like this set but I just can't. The launch tower is impressive, but at twice the price of the Apollo with a much smaller rocket, I just can't get behind it.
I ❤ Size Comparison Videos.
Well Saturn V looks more epic, has historic value in itself. And has micro Lunar Lander and Apollo Module. So it deserves my money and place in my space flight lego collection.
So even though Lego has put out a bunch of space sets since the Saturn V, they have never made any sets two sets in the same scale! Curiosity rover was 1: 20, Saturn V was 1:110, ISS was 1:220, LEM was 1: 45, Shuttle Discovery was 1:70 (maybe the Ulysses GWP counts but it was rather poorly proportioned and not super accurate) and the SLS is now 1:160.
I wish they had kept the same scale, then sell the tower separate. Have the tower work for both.
Then they could do a shuttle with the rockets and the tank, that would also fit the tower.
Thanks for this, Jang!
And more comparisons, please! 🙂💛
I'm glad that it's not scaled the same because that would've increase the price by 300 dollars. Remember that if you scale up the rocket, you would also have to scale up the launch tower as well.
I loved how you were holding up the Saturn with your head, lol! :)
Thanks for the analysis, Jang!
Great Job on this video. I appreciate you taking the time and showing the differences between the Saturn 5 rocket and the Artemis rocket.
I love the comparison videos. Good to see some sort of review on the old channel.😊
Both look fantastic awesome vid jang 👍
Great comparison video
Thank you for showing the comparison and saying some sensible facts with that comparison, people have opinions, but this helps a lot more.
Thank you for the video.
Ave Jang. Thank you very much for this comparision and for your extra time and effort for making this video. 😂
It's a nice coincidence that the scales are not too far off from Bandai's master and high grades. Could be fun to display gunpla beside the SLS.
Very interesting comparison
Pretty cool they are starting to release more sets in 1:160 N scale. This is an awesome scale particularly for railway models. It's all coming together now❤
I love that hoodie
I think both sets are pretty similar when it comes to how much they both stand out and demand attention when displayed
Yes!
1:17 I thought Jang will do the two rockets talking to each other, like a puppet show.
Nice comparison! What stands do you use for the Millennium Falcon and the space explorer?
Cool beans Jang
Now that's how to properly measure
a bit off topic but do you use any tools when attaching stickers
Which one is better?
Thank you for this very useful comparison! 👍🦖👍 I´m so glad I have at least one of these beautiful pieces of space exploration history. I guess we´ll see many more real rockets and spaceships from Lego. So the Artemis might not be the most spectacular one of this century and I don´t need to buy it, wooo 🤔
Hi Jang, watching your Videos for a long time now. I think, if Lego made a Launch Tower for the Saturn as well, they would sell a lot. Never understod, why they never did one.
Anyway, greetings from Austria, and i am looking forward for your next Videos!
TT vs N :-) (model trains scales)
I would get it but it's way too expensive for my budget and I don't have the space for it, the Saturn V took up such a spot.
I decided to skip out on this one specifically because I only wanted to pay for the stack, not the launchpad too
Were people really complaining that Lego is "charging more for a smaller rocket"? That's so silly IMO. It's almost like some Lego "fans" just ignore half of what they see just so they have something to complain about.
I hadn’t seen anyone complain about it. This is likely another case of making up complaints for buzz.
I don't make up fan comments. Ever. If I could bend the world to my will, everyone would think before they speak and use logic and reason, and also not make stuff up just to spread negativity in online comments.
Saturn V has ZERO stickers.
How many stickers does the Artemis have?
The Saturn V rocket is a little too big. The SLS looks a much reasonable size. Saturn V is 1969 pieces whereas the SLS is 3601 pieces.
semi relevant comment. from the model trains world- 160 is the scale of n gauge
I thought that thumbnail was photoshop clickbait! It’s huge!
Bigger is better in Texas.
the Saturn V is still and will probably forever remain as the best Lego set ever.
size, Price, detail, playability...EVERYTHING IS JUST AMAZING and pretty much perfect!!!
the SLS can't compete with that, sorry.
