Are all of these levels from the beta? I don't remember the fortress level, but then again, there was a cartridge of the demo up for sale on e-Bay once...
There's no coin sound in the SWAR files. It just plays as a square (or sawtooth) sequence that's located in the SBNK itself. I only changed the pitch (note). It's either Instrument 39 or 40 in the SBNK files.
Ambiance 69 Hm, interesting. But you said you changed the pitch of the _notes_. Then there should be an SSEQ file too. I bet it's in one of the SSAR files. Though I thought we weren't able to modify those.
It's not possible to edit SSAR files. I modified a value in the SBNK file using HxD Hex Editor. You can find the structure of a SBNK file with a Google search.
Ambiance 69 I don't fully understand. The notes in the uneditable SSEQ contain the notes and their pitch. How would you be able to edit the pitch in the SBNK? I thought the SBNK only says which channel should have which instrument.
Honestly your like the KING of alpha replicas
You should replace the graphic of the brick when hit.
This is cool
;D cool
Congratulations! ;) Also, can you tell me which SWAR and which sample is the one for when you hit a block/wall?
WAVE_VS_COMMON_PLAYER_BASE_SE (or something similar)
Ambiance 69 Thank you!
I now hate the Super Mario 64 block breaking sound.

I'm guessing there were a few things restricting you from making certain changes to some of the coding?
Other than that I really like what you did with this. 👏
Hi, could you tell me where is the Coin sound is located?

In the SBNK structure, what's next to the SWAV number is called "note" which ranges from 00 to FF (I think). Higher value means lower pitch.
