It's possible to fix or enhance the graphics, if anyone didn't like it, with non-logical screwing in-game "Brightness" to 100%. More could be applied with color settings of TV or PC's ReShade from default srgb to something like Adobe RGB 1998 [or etc. wider gamut]. On a PC it's not only tremendously powerful ReShade but also gpu Control Panel settings which can add more sharpening, or grains, or ambient occlusion. Bad side of a PC it is that usually it input lagging by default, until messed, learned and tweaked

From seeing Helena’s story, It reminds me of Cloud from Final Fantasy; they’re both struggling and they have to stop the villain from breaking them. And what gets me the most is that Helena and Cloud both lost their mothers to the Villain (Which is Christie and Sephiroth) And they suffer as the villains sadistically laugh at them. And then they defeat their foes but still falling in the hole of despair.
It's not a modified version of any of the DOAs, except for the fighting. in-depth story mode, enlarged cast of characters(All bosses made playable, including Alpha-152 and Kasumi's clone from DOA2), etc. The fighting uses DOA4's engine as a base. Lots of stun and holds do ridiculous damage, can hold off of wallsplat, etc. However, 4-point countering is removed, so it's only 3-point.
She is being shown to be rescued by Zack in DOA 4 as well lol, in the very end of this very credits clip! xD No need to get Dimensions to find that out.
What's crazy is Helena isn't going after Christy for killing her mom in the later games. This could of been so interesting to see but now DOA is just pretty faces with nothing going on and expensive DLCs. Such a Hugh waste of potential.

Also, it's refreshing and intriguing to see how characters would mature, work and behave and interact with the same 18-years old as they were in previous games [with Eliot, Marie, Honoka, Nico, Kula]. Lots of the fighting games did the same - latest Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur and Dissidia are looking more mature or were being "more preciously described", Tekken 2 had younger versions of characters too. If anime-style is very important it's possible to join latest fighting video games of One Piece, Persona, Naruto, Jump Force, or etc. more

What REALLY got him rich was at Vegas (he's got the Devil's Luck) at the crap tables. Nearly tripled his earnings almost everytime. So now, we see them having a partnership together...in the future. Damn shame, I would've liked to see what Dead or Alive: Code Chronos could deliver us since Itagaki wanted it to tell the story of DOA before DOA. So much potential could've made the story even more interesting, but it's gone now. -.-

It could be Christie since she tried to assassinate Helena when she was singing but Maria Helena’s mother shielded her. Also Kokoro is the daughter of the 5th mistress known as Miyako whose still alive. The only two mistresses who are dead is the 2nd mistress Anne and the 3rd mistress Maria whose the mother of Helena. Also Helena and Kokoro does meet and chat. It seems they get along fine.

The way I saw it, XBOX had the DOA series, while Playstation had the Tekken series. Evens out.
