Didn't expect anything less from you. Great content on both channels. Ps. I would love to see something about ESA(European space agency ) there aren't any vids about it to my knowledge.
Interesting, I’ve had a feeling before there’s a tad more excitement there for space related projects. I went the other way around and rockets made me more into planes. Your content is fairly decent, there’s no cringe, and your voice is rather pleasant. I like your renders - the best you can do without being a bloody corporation! Keep the good work up and cheers!
Great video, I genuinely see so much potential in this channel especially considering how much there is to talk about when it comes to spacecraft, please keep up this magnificent work.
Just subscribed after watching your April Fool's video on Found & Explained. I'm happy to join and look forward to more space videos to match the quality of your original channel. :)
Absolutely great video! Love the new format. I am so glad I found this channel through your most recent video on the T-4 Sotka. Please keep on sharing the fact that you have a new channel, so that more of us back at Found and Explained can find it. P.S. I'd always wondered about that odd fuel tank configuration, and now I know :)
You missed the postscript to this story. When the AN225 was on static display at the 1989 Paris Air Show, the Russians invited British Aerospace’s HOTOL team to considered it as an alternative to the launch trolly. This led to the Interim HOTOL which ended up very similar to MAKS-M. HOTOL’s original airbreathing engines were dropped, partly because Rolls Royce had pulled out, but also because the high altitude separation greatly reduced the value of airbreathing. British Aerospace and Antonov put a lot of work into the concept which went public in 1991, but, as always, the UK government just wasn’t interested.
Great vid, thanks. Tho I wouldn't agree with your point at the end. With the fall of Soviet union there where no tasks for such heavy lift vehicle as buran, and there was no money to support it. But molniya was totally for different class of payload. It could do some of the Soyuz work, but several times cheaper because of the nature of this launch vehicle. So I do believe it could have life after the collapse of USSR. Otherwise great video, and love to see you making something about space
Great start to a new channel. I do wish you talked more about the tripropellant engines in this spacecraft. They would've been more advanced than any flying today.
Great video, fortunately you have an awesome voice to go along with your excellent narrating ability! You rock , keep the channel going please, best of luck!!
I had today such dump April jokes but this is incredible i love Rockets over all and you open a dream for me by doing this. Thanks Thanks Thanks. I waite around the Clock for the next Video :3
the only youtuber that looks pretty much just how he sounds lol. also don’t take this in a bad way i don’t mean anything negative his face just goes with his voice
Mass of MAKS-Molniya spacecraft and tank with fuel was to be 252 tone. An-225 Mriya could only lift 190t. So the plan was to make new eight-engined version of Mriya, to be named Antonov An-325. This one was also supposed to serve as mother-ship aircraft for British HOTOL spacecraft.
this is an awesome visualisation of the project. The soviets said that "if america has it, we must have it too" - so they went with burran. The shuttle was constrained by needing to take some DoD payloads & thats what crippled it. The USSR was on the right track - so much so that the USA's dream chaser shuttle looks very like the mig 105 in 2022!!!
You forgot to mention the particular tripropellant configuration of the engines that used a staged combustion cycle and could burn a mix of RP-1 (kerosine) and liquid hydrogen at the same time. Oh, BTW amazing channel, as always =)
I hope you do things beyond just rockets and space planes. Theoretical space stations, and outposts on the Moon, Mars and beyond would be great too. And the kinds of things they can make use of or will need like mass launchers, tissue culture meat, spacesuits, robot mining equipment...
Quite enjoy both of your channels, very entertaining and loving the renders, thanks dude. ps if you're ever stuck with blender, please do ask, I've used blender for 6 years, know it almost inside out and glad to share knowledge.
You're speaking voice with your accented English, of course everyone speaks accented English who speaks English, is terrific and so listenable. You are a terrific narrator and could probably get high pay voice over work if you wanted to or maybe you already do this. Anyway keep up the great work and just know that you have an appreciative subscriber here.
It's ok, mostly in the times of our what are we really want to express and thanks for the new content that almost of your entire knowledge to share with us is such a big pleasure and appreciation to me as well as im a big fan of your videos🖥️ 👍 From:🇵🇭
amazing video, this new format with face reveal is best, got amazing info, just a simple request do cover some indian space and aircraft projects too if you found them intresting. ...... more power to you bro, good work keep it up
I wish Sierra Nevada company comes with a similar concept with their dreamchaser. Make the fueltank itself also capable of gliding down and land unmanned, and it would be a serious rival to Falcon 9.
I'm subscribed to both the channels here and found and explain unfortunately enough I remember subscribing to the channel and commenting on the first video 415 subscriber because there's only 414 subscriber early on but most likely I'm the 416 subscriber but I think what i commented is accurate but unfortunately It didn't somehow got saved me subbing and the comment and my comment disappeared because this is a reupload and it would have been great to know I'm the 415 person to subscribe anyways what I meant to say if your reading this love the channel because I always love 3d model in a senario of a vehicle and I also love the lots of space vehicles and space especially them in a scene in 3d so defenetly loved the channel Edit:well at least I'm the 41 person who comented hope that number is acurate
Kool. Change is evolution. Space is that next phase. We want more. Thanx!
More to come!
I goofed in the last video with a video error, so yes, its a reupload. I'd appreciate it if you left it reuploading in the background though!
haha now 5:55 is truly amazing ^^
Clicked over from "Found and Explained". I like the new channel. The channel name is perfect, too. Well done, my friend.
Awesome, thank you!
Great way to introduce your new channel
Thanks so much :)
@@escapevelocity6696 it’s great seeing a fellow Australian producing this level of content. Especially across three different channels now. 👍🏼👌🏼
Subscribed immediately I LOVE SPACE (Very Excited)
Me too
Awesome Work Again !
Didn't expect anything less from you. Great content on both channels.
Ps. I would love to see something about ESA(European space agency ) there aren't any vids about it to my knowledge.
Great suggestion!
ESA has some videos of themselves.
@@escapevelocity6696 Maybe ESA's cancelled Hermes spacecraft would be a fitting topic for another video. Or maybe the European Saenger II concept.
@@YF-23 Upvote for this ! I want some Hermes content =)
Just came over here from F&E and INSTANTLY Subbed! How fitting that this first vid features the now destroyed Sky Giant AN-225.
Very sad!
Great man!!! I love the inter-bureaucracy politics connecting to engineering challenges.
Interesting, I’ve had a feeling before there’s a tad more excitement there for space related projects. I went the other way around and rockets made me more into planes.

Fantastic to see a face with the voice!

you really need to talk about the RD-701 tri-propellant engines used in the MAKS
3:42 Engineer: how many engines do we put?
Designer: yes
*nods in turbofan engine*
Great job!!! Tks (and greetings) from Brazil
Thank you too!
Great start to a new channel. I do wish you talked more about the tripropellant engines in this spacecraft. They would've been more advanced than any flying today.
Excellent video and super correct pronounciation of Russian aircraft names! Well done Nick! 👏👏👏🤗

Here we go.

I have one of those faces
Now we leave the surface and the sky on earth and go into space, let's go!
Channel name suggestion: Found and Explored
Kinda fits the space theme and your other channels name ;)
Or better yet: Face Unexplored.
because some faces should remain a mystery...
Just kidding 😆
nice video

Molia sure looks like a reworked Dyno-soar design of the early '60's
Spacecraft? 1,000,000x better! I didn’t even bother to look at the rest of the video I just came straight here.
This is found and explaineds other channel, nice
The Spiral Molniya concept live on in concepts like the HL20 and its derivatives, namely the dreamchaser
