It was to show unity within LA, and how Drake is disrespectful to Dot, when claiming he gets more love in LA and using Tupac’s likeness. Kendrick only used the situation to spread attention and to create a form of peace.

    What a time to be alive to see Kendrick unite LA & the west coast and various gangs, sets etc. He had athletes, kids, families on that stage with gang members and it was all love and all unity. The culture needed it. I’m so glad I was able to witness it.

    The drake dissing is entertaining and all.. but can we show respect to how many gangs were up there on that stage just having a good time? No one got into fights and no deaths! Those gangs have history! Anyone of them could have went violent. I'm just impressed. If we can find a way to normalize that energy for black communities then we've literally solved one of our country's biggest problems

    Leave it to TMZ to ask what this legendary moment in Hip Hop means for Drake...who gives a fck. It was bigger than Drake. Big Boy gave the perfect response, it wasn't an anti-Drake show, It was an ode to the city, a victory lap, a display of bars, true artistry and unification of community on SEVERAL layers. Big up Kendrick and as an East Coast native, I'm so happy for the West.

    As a Kendrick fan this concert is one of the greatest concert all time cuz it unified LA and weat coast.. Kendrick unified the whole city...but as a hip hop fan we have to appreciate drake also cuz somehow indirectly drake name was like an amplifier for the city and the coast..we should not forget drake is also a part of the hip hop that man has ruled the decade charts..as a Kendrick fan i m not drake hater..drake deserved to be respected that guy has commercialy taken hip hop to new heights i love drake...and i love Kendrick i love hip hop

      Actually, most people were amazed that so many sets of rival gangs showed up for the show and unified for the moment. No violence popped off. This was a reminder of what Nipsy Hustle was working towards and Kendrick succeeded for the first time since his death to get people together. The beef is over, the songs are hot. There is groups dragging it on the internet but most people are just waiting for Drake to drop his first serious music project.

      I like trolling about the beef, because that is kind of what people do at the foot end of the beef. However, the song is good, and slowly gets disassociated with Drake over time unless you are observing the history of the beef.

I did see the Pop-Out Juneteenth shindig on YT. And the way K Dot united Gangs from The West Coast, LA, Compton, families and production crew, I came too close to crying!!!!     This was basically Kendrick’s ceremony crowing him as the King of Hip Hop and black people all coming together. No matter what gang or differences they may have had they were all in unison as one with energy peace and love on Juneteenth!
    It wasn’t even about Drake he was just a casualty to the war. This was the best Juneteenth ever the crowd was louder than Kendrick singing those songs. This was for the culture it showed we all can come together it’s definitely possible this was needed the culture won!!!!!!
