3D PRINTED 6 inch SOFT JAWS for Central Forge Harbor Freight Vice

Hey everybody,
I’m Carolyn from Tranquil Mentor and today we are going to be showing you the 3D printed 6 inch Soft jaws for our Central Forge Harbor Freight Vice. We printed them on our ender 3 pro with some supports and used some Easy Threed TPU translucent orange filament from Temu. The file is from the Printables by Josef Prusa and the creator is Koosh. We were so thankful that he made this file we thought we would share them with you in a video.
Instead of screwing the soft jaws to the vice, we wanted to be able to take these on and off easily so we used some thin magnet strips that we had on hand and cut them up. This is temporary until we find something stronger but for now it works great!
I use the vice …..to grip the hardware for my tiered trays that I make here on RUclips.
Koosh the creator of the print file suggested to use TPU and we’re glad we did because they are cushiony and flexible.
We just love the way they turned out and that orange translucent TPU was just what we needed and they look great too!
