EB my favorite 1911's although my Dan Wessons are a close second. I carried the EB SF exactly the one you have for years using a Matt Del Fatti holster that makes that bad boy disappear. Nice Pistol. Don't use the EB mags, use Wilson Combat you won't have any FTF or FTE anymore...

I have an Ed Brown Special Forces with rail and an Ef Brown Executive Carry with no issues after 2k rounds. If anything it's your stock Brown mags. Get Wilson or Chip McCormick. I have Les Baers too. I'm not as anal as you with details...it's a tool. I like the quality build. Also run them . A problem in 250 rounds means nothing. Mostly a mag issue. Run them and break them in with use then judge.

Literally you people are paying for a "slide to frame fit" tighter tolerance which is the exact problem with the m4/ar15 makes it more prone to failure due to the elements. Other than that your paying for a front strap, back strap and slide cuts ??????? I'll never understand people

Interesting. My Ed Brown Special Forces Carry had many FTF's with Wilson Combat mags. Started use only Ed Brown mags, completely reliable.
So if you were forced to keep 1 1911 out of the Wilson, Nighthawk, Les Baer, and Ed Brown.......which would it be?
