Xiaomi's not hands down the best. No phone camera is the best in all angles and situations.
But if we were to take photography of non human subjects into account? Holy moly Xiaomi is damn near unmatched in this regard.
Beautiful processing, no oversharpening, solid contrast, colors and exposure and best of all, no aggressive noise reduction. Look at Samsung and you'll see faded colors/pink or purplish colors/ smoothed out surfaces quite a lot. Samsung's inferior hardware tries to make up for all that at night and fails but ofc, big reviewers bias the big names.
I assure you, if this were a blind test the Samsung wouldn't win. Even MKBHD's recent test had Oppo and Oneplus ranked high for the most part.

Go to 09.22. Mixes up the phones and says Xiaomi has to catch up to Samsung for shutter speeds when they've got the faster Xiaomi on the right side under the Samsung banner 🤔 it's hilarious because Xiaomi has had instant shutter speeds from 2 generations ago on the 12S Ultra.

Samsungs natural bokeh 1:36 is good ? Xioami tends to create much more cinematic vibe than samsungs. Samsungs night mode shot looks much foggy , the dark tones looks purple tones. and 3:42 how can you say samsung has better exposer? Xiomis shot looks punchier and has more field of view than samsungs and again the shadows looks purple tone on samsung with more noise.
Overall xiaomi 14 ultra is far better in this this price🎉

Xiaomi clearly has a better camera. You have to be almost blind not to be able to see it!
And why all the hype around Samsung when, for example, the Google Pixel 8 pro has a far, far better camera?
I have sold my Galaxy s23 Ultra because all images, regardless of settings, do not live up to the iPhone or Google Pixel.

Samsung has better portrait mode. But it's only slightly better. Everything else goes to Xiaomi.

Xiaomi has more aperture, f1.63, samsung doesn't.
Xiaomi has have a stepless variable aperture, samsung dosen't.
Xiaom's zoom shot has better natural shadows in night both day and night mode.
you didn't mention Xiaomi's street photography mode that captures in 0.7 sec.
Xiaomi even has that floating telephoto lens, Samsung doesn't.
shutter speed is faster on Xiaomi, Samsung doesn't.
Also you didn't mention Galaxy AI.
More to add is Xiaomi's upgrading thorugh the hardware more and more, samsung still doesn't feel that intact in 2024.

Samsungs have always been embarrassingly slow with shutter speeds up until the S23 Ultra. It's been much improved on the S24 Ultra however still slow compared to other flagships, especially the chinese ones and even Apple it's main competition is faster as well.
Which makes me now wonder about this channels credibility that she's saying Xiaomi needs to catch up with Samsung in the shutter department when it's a known issue with Samsung phones throughout the tech community. Xiaomis have had instant shutter speeds 2 generations ago since the 12S Ultra. They get to test most new phones so surely it's not something they could have missed 🤭 but to actually mix up the 2 phones is just outright embarrassing!!!

Hey there! So, I've got the Samsung S23 Ultra, but I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the camera on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The details it captures up to 3x zoom are amazing, and the macro mode is top-notch.
Samsung does a great job with image processing, and their 10x to 100x zoom is unbeatable.
Even though I love Xiaomi, I'm sticking with my S23 Ultra for now because of the S Pen, Dex, and its AI features.

@@pragyatoli2944 to get a good photo both software processing and camera hardware is required...
But in Xiaomi hard is better so it takes great photo between 1x to 3x which doesn't need ai software algorithm to clear the image.
But in mobile photography full size 5x 10x 100x zoom lens can't be fitted... so to improve the clarity software algorithm plays a major role... in that way samsung shine... so in 10x to 100x samsung performance is good...

@@GadgetByte by what logic did you come to that conclusion. I have both the S24 Ultra and 14 Ultra and the S24 Ultra is slow as compared to the Xiaomi. The amount of shots missed of my kids on the Samsung compared to the Xiaomi is unbelievable. Even in your video the Xiaomi is clearly faster yet and you also have NOT ADDRESSED the fact you mixed the phones up on that section. The faster phone on the right is the Xiaomi which u have under the Samsung banner 🤔

1. xiaomi portrait video is called movie mode which is capped at 1080p @24fps only with main sensor
2. both have same shutter speed, u should have showed how many photos each phone took
They definitely do not have the same shutter speeds. The Samsung S24 Ultra whilst a massive improvement over the previous models is still very noticeably slower than the 14 Ultra.

Are we really looking at the same photo ? I LOVE this deep natural bokeh that Xiaomi allows you to do when you shoot macros. And this natural bokeh ability also explains why Xiaomi "forgot" to offer a portrait mode at 5x zoom. To be honest I simply never use portrait mode, that I consider as cheating and useless.

Guys see as far as the phone is meeting your needs that's fine. The comparison is for the smaller details that you should know that's it, it won't affect your performance of the phone people don't notice these details And don't forget u can edit ur photo as well with a good editor.

My huawei P50 Pro has the best moon camera and the best selfie then two of them. Lightweight, slick design Leica colour, and filter are just amazing. Glad I have Huawei without Google. Planning to buy pura 90 ultra

well well well, couple of points missed by you. 1st of all you forgot to tell xiaomi's 30x ai zoom which captured or generates more details. 2nd in ultrawide comparision samsung had more noise in night you should check the sky in the photos. so this battle can be equal. thank you

It's one of the bad and unfair reviews I've ever seen. I have the s24 ultra, but 14 ultra is way better for many aspects especially in 3-x and 5-x zoom range. Why didn't you use AI Zoom on 30-x times and more on 14 ultra? Seems like Samsung is sponsor for this review.

I felt the bias from early in the video. I own an S24 Ultra as well. I seriously don't think this comparison was fair at all. I love my phone but know for a fact that in most scenarios it loses to the 14 Ultra. I mean cherry on top is that comment about shatter speed and that is a common very well know issue about Samsung, sure its better this year but every other phone smokes Samsung in shatter speed. Samsung's bokeh is not great at all. It's fine, passable at best but cannot be compared to 14 Ultra and named best. These are just my opinions by the way I suppose because photography is pretty subjective.
Samsung has never been on top of it's game with cameras their image processing is horrid

Xiaomi have faster shutter speed when you choose f-4.0 aperture.
In my experience, Samsung is oversharpening too much. I have been using the S23 Ultra for more than a year. There is so much noise, oversharpening, and HDR is too strong; it blends the white color into gray. It's a waste of money for camera users.
I don't buy a phone for a camera alone that's why I went with the S24 Ultra

Most people don't understand the smartphone Industry and are too immature to think how it works.
People don't buy phones looking at how big the Camera sensors are , how good macro photos it takes, how good the variable aperture technology is. U guys think samsung doesn't have these technologies?? Lol!
It's because samsung has already covered a majority of market share in the Android flagship phone market. So they need to focus on things which vast majority of people need and not what the minority people (photography enthusiasts) need. So that they could succeed. Xiaomi on the other hand needs ground breaking features to crack this market. Hence they are going with these things along with a bit low pricing.
Apart from all these people prefer just smooth, matured, reliable software experience and that's why Samsung is working hard on it.
Even those two companies would be friendly at some part. But it's funny to see you guys are fighting for those companies. That's how people were maipulated by corporates nowadays. (I don't support this comparison either)

Unaccurate test, i had both of them, and Xiaomi kill samsung every way. Who owns both of them, know. Anyway, the fogging issue was persist on my Xiaomi aswell, so sent back sadly😢
