CJRB Pyrite is phenomenal. I have two and plan to get a couple more. My G10 example is slightly smoother action and lock than the steel scale version I have. That might just be my examples. It's a minor difference. Both are excellent. PS - I have a button lock Elementum full size. Which I do really like. But the Pyrite is definitely better in pretty much every way.
Great list. Although there's nothing specifically wrong with the Elementum - it never quite grabbed me. I like both the Kizer & Vosteed options you listed (I own 2 x Assassins). OMHO but for me the button lock really excels in this knife size range. Easy deployment & closure, bit of fidget factor, nice looks on an EDC knife that won't see true hard use. Sharp blades all.
Hello Jay. I've got an Elementum button lock and Cormorant and I enjoy carrying the Cormorant quite a bit more because of the multiple opening options. The Scorpio looks interesting. 👍🍻
I have only one button lock knife, the Kizer Assassin. The knife seems to operate perfectly, but I just don’t get the craze behind the button lock. I much prefer the the compression lock, liner lock, and back lock, but the bar lock is by far my favorite. Do so many people really like the button lock enough to justify all these button lock models flooding the market? Maybe I’m just a weirdo.
Thank you for this! I got the Hiccup and Pyrite a few days ago and love them. Hiccup gets lock stick closing when using any method other than the button to deploy. I'll see what I can do to correct it. Looking at the Sixleaf and Scorpio now that you've introduced me to them. Want an Altus and Elementum II eventually too. Vosteed Raccoon and CJRB Feldspar micarta button locks are others I'm very interested in.
Awesome goodies. I'm glad they finally got a variant that has an ambi clip, because it killed me that every version was righty only. Now, we need the standard liner lock to have the ambi clip, because not everyone likes button locks. They can take their time now though, because I've already bought my alternatives, haha.
Hey. I want the Elementum 2 but with micarta scales , so i did order a Vosteed Corgi. Most likely i will get a Elementum 2 once the micarta scales will be awailable . Is it just me or Vosteed is growing up fast?
Hey that's a cool list man. The original is my favorite. It has a really quality feel to it. And great action. I took down the copper scales and put a salt water patina on them. It came out really nice. Take it easy.
Great stuff as always. Need advice. I'm a Industrial sandblaster and painter, by trade, wanting decent edc, 3 inch ish blade. But the grit, sand and super heavy dust, all day destroys the bearings, on my last 2 knives, civi pigtail, and kershaw copper natrix. Don't want a fixed blade. Want would stand up to all the sand in the pockets????
Racoons are 59$ as you said.. The Elementum is not even close to the quality and feel of any vosteed IMO and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way :)
It pisses me off that they finally released the ideal button lock elementum and were just like, hmmm I’m sure this isn’t something lefties would like to carry! It’s only one of our most popular models lefties don’t like popular knives right???
OMG what a joy to listen normal speech, without crying and laughing without reason every minute. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I have the Pyrite w/ the Titanium scales and it's dope. Totally adore this knife.
Hi nice video Jay, did you get another camera?
Thanks Jay. Loving the options. I'm really leaning towards the CJRB Lago but you make some very interesting points. Thanks much!
I love my Lago. It really is a great one.

Kizer assassin XL a great knife
I’ve carried the assassin for months now and love mine.
Yet to own an Elementum, but that Scorpio is much preferred. Thanks Jay!
I love the look of the Mexican Serape blanket. If I could find one with a blade longer than 3”, I’d buy it
Pro tech Malibu ?? My favorite button lock..

I’m not really into button locks, I’m not sure why. But that Corgie looks very cool! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello Jay. Hope you are well. My two favourites on this list would have to be the Hic Cup and the Raccoon. All the best.

The new penguin in 154cm and titanium is pretty sweet

Great bunch of options, buddy! That Serape is a wicked cool knife! Cheers!
Another fantastic list Jay. Thanks for sharing. I wish they kept this Elementum the same size as the OG button lock.
I have the assassin and the Pyrite and love them thanks for sharing Jay

Orion Scorpio is fantastic 💜💜💜👐
Excellent video, lots of choices. Cheers!!

back lock
The elementum is soo boring so i appreciate the other options
I only have the Sencut Sachse so that’s all I can go by!
Kershaw Dimension....but the CJRB is great knife as well.
which one can I have for free? awesome vid. i didnt know two sun had a budget brand. awesome!
Great listing brother 👍
Love your videos!
thank you!
I wouldn't say the Assassin was influenced by the Elementum. They are similar but correlation is not causation.
Racoons are 59$ as you said.. The Elementum is not even close to the quality and feel of any vosteed IMO and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way :)
Funny I've got that assassin in my pocket.
I can’t find the corgi anywhere either
Kizer Amicus nitro V is a cheaper alternative and a great knife for less than 60 €
Jayyy!!!
