I've been on with "Life on Cars" where I did some welding on his Rolls Royce, which did help alot with subscriber's, The main issue with collaboration for me is I tend to do most if my work between 8.30pm and 11pm 😂 I'm open to the possibility in the future if other RUclipsrs would be up for it and we could make it work!
Furious Driving is doing a mini full restore at the moment, don't know how far away he is as I live in Australia where rust isn't really a problem. I saw you on Life On Cars.
My son and myself finished a total restore on a 1977 mini pickup your one looks mostly solid our one was completely rotten ,it was evenings and weekends we got there in the end enjoyed every minute of it I'm 67 now but still love working on stuff like that good luck on your project ,our pick up was sold at anglia car auctions when it was finished,
Theres not many panels on this that don't require work im afraid! I've already replaced the lower half of the bulkhead, requires full front end including inner wings, full front floor pan, full rear load bed, rear bulkhead, rear arches, rear quarters! Really the only bits left that are good are the roof and pillars and upper bulkhead!
Lile you say this is turning into a big metal jigsaw puzzle. Good job on the spot welding looks fantastic- you certainly know your Minis!
Still learning every day!
The spot welder is a game changer!
That's a real Labour of love. You should try to do some more collaboration videos with more youtubers which would boost subscibers/views.
