Hello you two so so glad you went to Anatolian side. I first went to Kadikoy in Febuary 2001 and again in 2009 to visit my turkish friends. I don't know why but people always assume european side is more modern when the opposite is true. It is really vibrant and dare I say it cool in Kadikoy. I spent a month each time I visited and loved Dolma bahce (stuffed garden) .It has been really lovely watching your video's you have been to many of the same places just a few years apart. When I go to Turkiye I visit Istanbul then Fethiye to visit everyone. Hope you are enjoying being back home, take care of each other x.
Hi :) I know! The coolest people! So modern and just an amazing place to hang out! Next time we visit, I think we will stay in the Anatolian side for sure. We loved it there and 1 day definitely wasn't enough! How often do you get to go to Turkey? Where do you live now? We hope we get to go back often in the future as well. We have new friends to visit :) And thanks so much for watching our videos ❤️
@@waysoftheworld_it is a gem that isn’t discovered by many i say keep it like that 😂 We are going tomorrow we have visited almost 3 times a year the European side. And last we where there one day we loved it. Now we are going back for three weeks. Bagdat cad. Next to the stadium. Hopefully we are going to enjoy it. We are from Holland and our parents are from Turkey. Hey and there will be a soccer match Saturday. We are going to enjoy the vibe on the streets hopefully.
Love this! We really enjoyed our time on the Asian side of Istanbul too!! And same - we read that there wasn't much to do on that side, but we also walked around so much everyday and it was super cool!
Hello you lovely couple. The demonstration was about women's rights and the speaker was uttering some words about how the system was unfair to women etc etc.. Glad you've enjoyed the day's tour. Few days are never enough in Istanbul. So much to see and experience. Totally loved your videos off the beaten track in Turkey. Good luck and all the best..
Thanks so much for translating! Glad to hear you have enjoyed the videos. Honestly, we loved the touristy things in Istanbul and Turkey but some of our fondest memories happened because we went off the beaten track! We fell in love with his beautiful country and its people and we cannot wait to be back! 🇹🇷❤️
@@waysoftheworld_ I’ve watched over 100 vlogs of travelers on Istanbul and I can’t recommend Kadikoy enough, foreign visitors MUST travel to Kadikoy to have a feel of how Istanbulites actually live
@@precursors YES! We couldn't agree more honestly! We want to stay there next time we visit. Such a fun and cool neighborhood :) Many great restaurants, bars, cool people, etc. LOVED IT!!

Hi! Thanks! Kadikoy is a great place to stay but you will be far from most of the attractions in the city. It depends on what you plan on doing. We wrote a blog post with 9 of the best neighborhoods to help you decide which one is best for you. Maybe it'll be useful: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/best-areas-stay-istanbul/ good luck and safe travels! Istanbul is one of the best cities in the world!
Us too! But that day we got lost so many times LOL tried to get on the tram but couldn't pay because they didn't take cash... it was a mess! But we want to stay in Kadikoy next time we visit Istanbul to explore more of this area, so hopefully then :)
@@imadsenhaji4570 Have a walk at the sea side in moda, go to the "kalamis Ataturk park", have a walk in bahariye, go to the bull statue, and go to fenerbahce park (a wonderfull park with a very nice view of the city).

Love it!! I’ve learned that Kadikoy is a night city - gets really popping after 9pm. Cafes are full and close at midnight. So fun!

2:25 Or you can take the Metro, which costs maybe 50 cents and takes you to Asia in 3 minutes.. 🙂
12:48 That is Dolmabahce Palace, it’s a museum

Ya lo dijo Bonaparte “si el mundo tuviera una capital esa sería Estambul” o algo así…..gracias por el viaje🌹

My family is from Kadikoy, so it is so nice to see that you had a nice time there
Nice! We really had the best time in your neighborhood :)
You should take the other jetty, to go to Karaköy or Eminönü. You took Beşiktaş ferry, which was wrong.
