This video and your art of Israel Kamakawiwo’ole just took me back to growing up with his music, it always brings a smile to my face and peace to my soul, thank you! Also a friendly tip to pronouncing his name, you were super close! You just missed the end part a bit (the wiwo’ole bit) pronounce it like vee-vō-olay 😉
Ohuhu is my favorite marker brand! They’re affordable and the customer service is absolutely amazing! Once, a marker dried out from use and I emailed them asking if I could buy just that marker. They just asked for a picture of my set to prove I owned them and they sent me a free one right away! I love them and have every single brush and chisel marker they have.
So jealous!! I just bought a set of greyscale Ohuhu markers this morning, it’s so cool that you can get so many supplies sent to you. You certainly deserve it, though! Wonderful art as always 👍
Great work. I love how you capture a beautiful voice. Love the Goofy reference. Blessings. I wonder if it would be possible to use a white ground on the back of the page to do watercolor or do the reverse image in watercolor or gouache? Just curious.. Blessings.
Almost every alcohol marker brand has incorrect swatches compared to the caps. I wish we didn't have to always swatch our markers but it's such a trend with almost every brand that you just gotta.
I've been watching your videos since quite sometime and I know it wouldn't be much if I say that you're an amazing artist and an amazing person, but YOU LITERALLY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE MY FREAKING FATHER! If only I could show you the uncanny resemblance, it's literally like two doppelgangers! I never actually had my father to myself, he'd left a long time back, but I still come across his pictures in the social media and see him once every few years, but sheesh you look exactly like him and I could not help not exclaiming that today! Moreover, what's more unusual is that each of my interests including my behavioural characteristics match exactly with yours and damn, that's getting me concerned! 😂😂
@@ssavaart Aaiya that's really so nice of you, Sir, but in case I see him again, I surely would! 😊 And am a literal air conditioner of your work! I hope I can meet you someday. You are an inspiration. 💖💖

The color varies with different types of paper. The swatch pads they include in the set usually darken the colors quite a bit (I find that the really textured watercolor-like paper darkens it) whereas smoother paper keeps the color closer to the cap. Even with smoother paper, the colors still are very off from the color of the cap. This is just my personal experience, and I wanted to share! :] One thing, I mostly use the illo sketchbook when working with alcohol markers. Just a suggestion for anyone reading
Illo is so so expensive in the U.K. because of shipping and tax. It cost like £70 when I checked how much it would cost. I haven't seen the markets myself, but to be honest, it is kind of hard to get as many different tones in the darker colours as it is the lighter ones. Not to mention, there are a lot of different skin tones that are just 'lighter' in general. It's about inclusivity. Though, if I'm ever going to buy it, there had better be good variety. I mean bluer, redder, greener, and yellower tones for every shade, not just variety for the lighter ones, and four or five different 'basic' browns, if you know what I mean.
