    I appreciate the compilation videos because they help open eyes, but I really love it when bucks watch the full game highlights because you can also see the hustle on defense, rebounding, the tough MISSED shots, and also some of the competition from the other teams back in that day. MJ made even great defenders look bad because with his quickness, you had to commit to defending him eventually or you had no shot after his first step. That was what made his simple pump fake so deadly. If you didn't react it was a Jay in your eye, but if you did react he'd roll right by you while you were in the air. MJ also made them defenders work hard and most of the time he'd out last his opponents on stamina on both sides of the court, which is just insane to imagine in this day and age.

      Jordan can pass as well as anyone. It's just that there were many good scoring teammates to pass to on that Bulls team. Pippen was a slasher but not a shooter. Neither was Grant, Cartwright, Rodman, Longley and so on. Kukoc and Kerr can shoot a little but their subpar defense limited their time on the court. If Jordan plays in this era, his career assist # will be up easily 20%.

      Those are all lies bro… I’m sure you’ve learned some of that along the way. They have lied about and tried to erase his on court game for yearsss because they can’t erase the stats/numbers/accolades.
      ‘Mike didn’t pass’… ‘Mike was a ball hog’… ‘Mikes just a scorer’… ‘Mike can’t shoot 3’s’…’mikes not a complete player’, etc etc are all lies.
      I don't know how people never asked themselves how the hell does a ball hogging shot chucking no passing 1-dimensional player who did nothing else on the court to speak of other than scoring accomplish more than any other player in nba history by a mile? That’s backwards.

    When Doug Collins temporarily switched up the Bulls to have the offense ran through Jordan (similar strategy to James Harden, or LeBron), Jordan was averaging like 30/10/10. He got 10 triple doubles in 11 games. Though there was more team success playing in a real system where his role was to be the scorer. If he played that style for his career though, no one would ever say he couldn't pass. Jordan had no weaknesses.

      That's because they believe in selling narratives....like they try an say scottie was a better Defender then Mike when in reality Mike was the better Defender but pippen was the primary Defender an great in his own right but I seen a bunch of games where pippen was getting smoked an mj had to switch on an shut them down an they get the w but narratives are narratives.

    MJ had no weakness when he stepped in on the court. Most analysts and his detractors comment on his passing as his weakness. He only passed the ball when he was surrounded by 2 to 3 defenders and to his teammate to score. Not passing for the sake passing or passed the ball so that that team mate will look good when he scored, MJ passed the ball because team mate was in the scoring position. If his team mate missed that opportunity to score, that was the last time MJ will ever pass the ball to him. To MJ, you win the with baskets scored and you lose if you do not score, winning was what kept his motor going in his entire career thats why he will always be the GOAT. He lost games because he was out muscled, he lost games because there was little help from his team mates but if there was a chance to win he always takes it and carry his team to win. He was the ultimate competitor and winning was the only motivation to him. People see his scoring and defensive exploits but overlooked his passing because he does that very rarely, but when he does pass the ball it was always something special. Kobe came close to emulating MJs peats but it stopped there, no one had come close. Watch out for the Joker, if he continues winning championships with his style of basketball, we will seriously talk about goat issue, but since MJs retirement up to today their is nobody that good enough, not even the greatest flopper LeBron is that good in comparison to MJ. Thank you for nice video on some of the greatest moves of the greatest Basketball player that ever lived.

    MJ could adapt to everything he wanted. The game now is more stretched out so its much easier to pass also.
    MJ had it all, from lay, dunk, passing, palming, footwork, jumpshots , clutch under pressure, defense and the greatest thing is killer mentality to win.
    If people compare a man from the mid 80’s 90’s era with a player from nowadays what does that tells you? He was way ahead of his time.
    That’s greatness!!

  • @bitcrafter
    @bitcrafter 10 месяцев назад

    People like to say MJ was a selfish player. No, he was a SCORER. That was his role. And he was the best there ever was. But this certainly shows that MJ wasn't afraid to pass, and he had incredible court presence, high baskeball IQ, and when he couldn't make the shot, he was still able to pass and make the play.

    This is why i never understood the whole "Lebron is a better overall player than Jordan" argument. Jordan is the better offensive player, defensive player, better fundamentals, better rebounder, better in the clutch, better ball handler and you can make the argument he is just as good as a passer if not better.

    You sound a bit goofy talking about defense when Jordan made everyone look ordinary. They were more “aware” defensively then than players today will ever hope to be so when I hear young cats make statements like that it immediately lets me know how much research and actual games you have yet to watch.
