    I was blessed to have seen MJ play live and in person several times as a Bull and as a Wizard, he was something other worldly. He had a different aura around him that spoke to his greatness on the floor. People of today have no true idea just how great MJ was. Let me show you some of the names of Hall of Fame members he denied championships to during his run in the 1990's. Patrick Ewing, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Reggie Miller, Chris Mullins, Charles Barkley just to name a few. MJ also made Nike the Shoe company that it is today, and is still making money off of his shoe line and his likeness. So to me there is no discussion MJ is the G.O.A.T.

      Because MJ always plays at 100%, he need to preserve his energy wisely, we still see some fancy moves when he is fresh in the league, but after 90s when Phil became the head coach MJ has learned to control his body to save energy for the entire game and season, that's why you hardly see MJ score like 2-4 points in t he forth unless he was pulled off by coach's decision, you always know he is going off in the 3rd or 4th if the game is closely tied or the Bulls are trailing behind. Also the reason he performs better in playoff than regular season which not many superstar players can do that. ( most under perform due to pressure and the intensity in the playoffs, Wilt is a good example of it )

    Great reaction youngster. And I commend you for not being the typical young, bias and ignorant Bron superman lover. I fell in love with the sport back in 1979 because of Magic. I have bled purple & gold since then but without hesitation I proclaim MJ to be the GOAT. I was fortunate to have seen young then prime Mike a few times at the old LA Sports Arena vs Clippers and what my 20/20 vision witnessed is like nothing it had seen before or after him. I have also seen young and prime Bron a few times and I find it laughable that they're compared. I agree 100% with Hakeem who said "Jordan is a far more superior player and in a tougher league." And Magic said it best "There's Jordan then there's everybody else." Or was it Shaq that said it best "Jordan is a 10 and there's no 9s only 7s and 8s." It comes down to opinions, and I can guarantee you without reading any of the comments, that the vast majority will tell you Black Jesus is the GOAT.

He played with the bulls 14 season and won 6 rings and took 2 years off. The argument could be made if he didn’t take 2 years off he would of had 8 straight rings and the year he won his last champ they broke up the team. It would have been 9 lol I can keep going on and on but seeing Michael Jordan’s and Lebron play. Lebron is great but Jordan on another planet.

    MJ is the GOAT, but I'm not stupid. LeBron is 2nd (ahead of Magic, Kobe and Larry.) It was Bron's 39th birthday yesterday.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Jordan has all the moves and no weaknesses. MJ grew up playing basketball when there was no 3-point line. However, LeBron shoots it behind the arc at 34.6% and Michael at 32.7%. LeBron dominates the boards and the passing/assists category. MJ was the Rookie of the Year in 1984/85. LeBron won the same Award in 2003/04. Both megastars captured 2 Olympic Gold Medals each. Bron won a Bronze Medal, too. MJ was capable of dunking on a 6'5 opposing player or a 7'5 opposing player. LeBron, as well. Michael shot the midrange fallaway with terrific precision. LeBron loves taking a pass beyond the 3-point line and driving through the paint for a lay-up which is unstoppable. I am well aware of more stats like MVPs, Championships, Steals Leaders, Finals MVPs and defensive awards. I just don't want to list everything because it will end up changing from a 6 line paragraph to a 15 line paragraph. And no one will want to read it.

      The "2nd" Lebron has to be compared to is not Magic, Kobe, or Larry, its Kareem. You have to realize Kareem won 6 rings, and had 6 MVP's, etc.

      @@jackastor5265 I didn't realize that he won 6 rings and 6 MVPs I should probably remove Magic and input Kareem. I thought he played in that one specific era where there was only 8-10 teams in the whole entire league.

    • @jackastor5265
      @jackastor5265 11 месяцев назад

      @@LastLetterisZed702 No that was Wilt and Bill Russell that played in the 60's and there were only 9 or 10 teams early on. Kareem played in the 70's and 80's when it was a full league and won 6 rings. He also lead the league in scoring for 30+ years, and also had the most unguardable shot in NBA history. Kareem is also probably the greatest college basketball player of all time, winning 3 NCAA championships in 3 seasons with UCLA.

      Lebron dominates on defensive boards whereas Jordan averaged more offensive boards per game and still had total more off-reb than Lebron at the start of 2023.

    Let's go BabyFreezy... As someone who grew up watching the Lakers\Celtics rivalry as a kid and has also seen the entire Bulls dynasty era as well as the modern ones, Jordan is the GOAT to me personally. Never lost a finals that he played in, was defensive and offensive all NBA multiple times, and just had that ultimate, killer instinct. Not to mention how smooth his game was and how he just seemed like he could hang in the air, at least, twice as long as anyone else.

    I'm glad I was fortunate enough to have watched MJ throughout his career and watching him play watch something else. Load management wasn't a thought so you knew if you're tuning into any bulls game, you're in for something good. He's Michaelangelo with a basketball and it was breathtaking cause you never knew what he was going to do that night. Picture all the h.o.f players during his playing days which spans about 5+ years that have no rings on their resume. Kobe (R.I.P) was the closest we will ever see to true poetry in motion and we will never see another shooting guard who can dominate and entire league in the fashion Jordan could

    MJ had 10 scoring titles with 7 in a row, 9x all defensive first team/1 second team, league steals leader 3x, a DPOTY and scoring title at the same time only player to ever do that), still the fastest player ever to 100 steals & 100 blocks, only player ever to have 200 steals 100 blocks and score 3,000 pts in a season, only player to have a 37 ppg season, still the league record 34/6/5 2 steals 1.5 blocks in an 82 game season, still the highest PER in league history, and only player with two 3-peats.
    His rookie year was 40 years ago, and his final retirement was 20 years ago. He was THAT good.

    Note how many defenders got knocked down, fell down, and laid the wood on Jordan at the rack ( Lots of and 1's today)..didn't stop him one bit. Many of those guys are among the NBA's all-time lading shot blockers. ( He was twice as strong as he looked, and could palm a pumpkin and hold it up and down with ease..scaaarrryyyyy.) Add that on to his game winning shot % (Highest in NBA history) and his defensive I.Q, you have a basketball nightmare waiting for ya every game.
