Thanks for all your work through out the season.
Thanks for the documentaries -- across the pond, it's hard to visualize and understand the intricacies of these great mountains but your first-person accounts of ski mountaineering and your showcasing interesting, alternate "resorts" off the grid really help someone like me understand what's there to enjoy. I may not be abseiling into couloirs anytime soon but I appreciate seeing how its done. Hopefully I'll get to Cham and Lagrave next season and yes, I heartily encourage you to keep up the videos. I'll buy you a beer when I get to Cham. Cheers.👏👏👏🤟👍🏂
I have looked forward to your videos every week. Thank you!!!!
Midi let you up there at last! Fantastic. Thanks for all the regular reports and education over the season, I think the way you do the reports is great, particularly how you explain certain safety aspects. Personally I've learnt a lot about snowpack and weather and been interesting to see the varying conditions around mt bianco and how they change. The bulletins have warned of the spring situation most months of the season. Hope you got the accommodation situation sorted. What an epic itinerary for the "final" snow report. Thanks CSB 🤟🏼
Thank you all the updates!
Thanks for all your content. It is has been really interesting to watch and great to feel in touch with the mountains right through the season.
Thanks for all the reports and other videos. Been really informative and entertaining. Looking forward to your alpine and summer videos. Keep it up!!
Thanks Dave EPIC honest content! Keep it real and take care with those spicy objectives! Thanks, Al 🤘❤
Thanks. Have enjoyed keeping up with goings on in Chamonix. Time to get the bike out for the summer until the snow returns.
Hey jo really appreciate this reports loved it to see how the conditions in the western alps are and jea just lovet it thanks a lot hope for more stay fit and healthy 🤙
Never been to Chamonix but many many other locations in the Alpes. But still enjoy the coverage every week. Thanks for your time and effort. Much appreciated.
Loved the videos! Really enjoyed my trip to chamonix in March, hopefully get back there in the future. Will keep watching your adventures!
Thank you 👍👍
Thanks Dave! Really enjoy the channel!
great work! Really enjoying keeping up with the valley scene from Auckland, NZ.
Was gonna ask if you would keep the reports going into summer! I will certainly stay tuned because I really appreciate the local perspective and seeing what is happening in the valley.
Good job thanks for the info and keeping my stoke up even if I'm in idaho
Thanks for the reports this year! I hope to ski there in the next few years before I get too old. Working on AST and mountaineering skills here in Oregon and Washington prior to visiting.
Thank you very much really great reporting and learned a lot !
Some summer alpine walks would be nice, with a bit of local knowledge. keep meaning to get over there in the summer...
thank you !
Keep it coming. Interested in how it is going in May!
Big thank you for the snow reports mate always good to see real time conditions in the alps and your videos are always fun 👍 look forward to more and next winter will be here before we know it. My only request would be more 🇮🇹 videos as I’m biased!
Many thanks !
Thanks mate - really enjoyed the reports through the season.Interesting and informative.Nice one.
Thanks a lot got your work. Really usefull and funny! Waiting for the summer content !!!!
Thanks 🙏 .. been great watching your clips ! I have done many trips skiing and climbing years ago and have some great friends in Cham .. only managed a week this year .. we are in La Clusaz for the summer so will pop over too Cham .. your reports have been helpful!!
Thank you for the awesome updates and the time and effort you put into them. I continued to watch even after my ski trip! One request. Would it be possible for you to do some reviews of family friendly resorts in the area such as Avoriaz. From what I see your info is a lot better than others! Perhaps you can find a way to work in some sponsorship to help with cost/income!! Thanks again and looking forward to next season.
hi, i had hoped to go to the portes du soleil this season for a day, but the snow was just too poor so it wasnt worth the drive there for me. hopefully next year will be better and i will finally get to ski there! I did a report from Flaine/grand massif this year, which definitely counts as family friendly. but again the snow was poor so the skiing was limmited.
Discovered your channel a couple of years ago when you biked the parts of nearby TDF stages in summer. I hope you keep doing those in the future and thank you for all the snow reports this winter. It was very informative.
Sadly the tour is not coming close to me this year, but we had 4 stages last year so more than our fair share! But I will definitely still be doing some road biking videos
I just came across your channel & live the content! Will be coming to Chamonix next Jan & was wondering whether to stay in Cham or Argentiere? Thx
wherever you can find somewhere affordable really. it is a direct link on the bus between the two and you will likely ski in different resorts on different days, so you will be travelling in both directions anyway. chamonix has the bigger social scene but that is the only difference really.
@@chamonixskibumI am thinking Argentiere as it's closer to the Grand Montets. Thx for the input 👊
Coming out end of May "like we used to pre covid" from the uk, anything you need? will be staying near elevation (or the flat iron building as we've always referred to it) let us know.
thanks but i am back in blighty myself in may so i can stock up on goods then!
@@chamonixskibum No worries, we traditionally go out a few times per year, summer & winter, so another time maybe!
Thanks enjoyed the videos. What belay gear do you use?
Which bit do you mean? The anchor? The belay plate? All of it?!
Belay plate.
I was planning on a mont blac climb, on the 25-26, do you recon it would be better to do a ski touring assent with the snow levels ?
Of this month? Yes it will still probably be ski season conditions up there
How long is the walk out from the VB to the cable car nowadays?
About 20 minutes
Thank you 👍
