I recently got the new Profitec Move and it is great. It is my first machine and I am slowly learning all of the ins and outs of espresso drinks but I am enjoying the process and have great coffee at home now. One day I would love to have a machine that has water plumbed directly in like the Profitec Drive.

      Thanks for the comment !
That's a nice machine to start with, it's a dual boiler right? How is it to have a workflow with a dual boiler? Is your workflow faster thanks to that?
Yeah i agree with you on that, it's quite annoying to refill the tank pretty much every day or every other day, depending on the amount of coffee me and my wife drink in one day. Only thing is here in Romania, where i live, tap water isn't really recommended for coffee, as it has quite bad quality in it. But i do find that very usefull to have water plumbed direclty into the machine !

I used to have Gaggia baby twin like 10 years ago. It broke down so I bought the cheapest DeLonghi Micalite or something like that. I was super basic coffee machine but sufficient. I bought Lelit Mara X a few weeks ago. On the 31.12.2024 🫶🏼🫶🏼 it perfect. And if you don't have the need to make dozens of milky drinks in a row during the day, let's say over a hundred drinks total, it's perfectly fine! I just need a grinder and a proper coffee now haha. Thank you for the recommendation of this DF grinder. I'm looking into it! Keep it up Eduart!

    Excellent heart!
Sadly, no espresso machine at the moment but currently reading all the reviews I can find on the Rancilio Silvia.

      @@shamwari172 thanks my friend!
I've mainly heard great things about the Rancilio. Seems like a good one to start with. Do you plan to buy one in the near future?

@@eduartCoffee I'm hoping to later this year, finances permitting, need to get a good grinder first, and then will see if I can get a good secondhand one, hopefully with a PID. Spares seem plentiful which is one of the reasons I'm thinking of the Silvia but I could also go for the Gaggia Classic for the same reason.

My Timemore Mini tares once the dosing tray is added, then I add beans, but often before I can get to 18g the scale zeros out again -- what gives?

    • @eduartCoffee
      @eduartCoffee  4 часа назад

      Hello there !
Does it tare on its own? I don't know that scale that much. Maybe you take too much time between 2 scoops of coffee beans? And it believes you have started over?
Another thing i have noticed with this timemore scales is that they are very sensitive, so even by aproching the tare button it can fell like you pressed it.
I don't know if my answer helps in any way, but hope i'm helpfull. Anyways thanks a lot for the comment, hope to see you around :)

My dream espresso machine would be the lelit too, but Mara as I don’t drink milk based drinks so no need for two boilers. I also like la marzicco mini too. We have the same taste.
Currently I have a Delonghi Eco, first espresso machine too. Good enough for espresso only. Kind of hard to steam with it as it has a huge knob on the tip for dome reason.

Are you looking to upgrade your machine? Or it's enough for you for the moment?

@ i would like to, however limited counterspace but more than that, I just have too many accesorries bought and it’d just be a waste. Coffee is great.
