the reason for this refrigerant being used, is due to the fact that the federal government has issued a phase out of R-410A. it is interesting that another pre WW2 refrigerant has made a comeback, and that is R290( propane), nothing like being doped!!!!!. the "HFC/HCFC" refrigerants do not harm the ozone layer being that they are heavier than air. there was enough R11 refrigerant released when the twin towers came down that should have caused total destruction of the ozone layer, but it did not happen, and politicians stopped talking about it.

What exactly is the lie? The SANCO2 heat pump water heater is fantastic. Simple to install and operate and 5x more efficient than my old electric resistance tank - I know this because I’ve had a meter on the water heating circuit before and after AND through some pretty frigid weather .

@@rcpmac Sanco has been on the market for over 20 years. It is not good for the cold climate since it produces only 50 percent from nominal capacity. I do not know who would want to spend money on overpriced outdated tech, when there are many others which would bring 80 percent for reasonable money

As the video says, CO2 HWHP are not the best solution for every situation, but I have enjoyed a SanCO2 for a year and it has performed flawlessly in my north Florida garage. I have more and hotter water than I ever had with a NGWH plus it's powered by a PV system.
