- Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) is every bit a seventeen-year-old: she’s attached to her laptop and loves her best friends. But unlike most teenagers, she spends much of her time living in a hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control -- all of which is put to the test when she meets an impossibly charming fellow CF patient named Will Newman (Cole Sprouse).
There’s an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction. Further complicating matters is Will’s potentially dangerous rebellion against his ongoing medical treatment. Stella gradually inspires Will to live life to the fullest, but can she ultimately save the person she loves when even a single touch is off limits?

Totally relate to the trying to find something nice, haha! Us CF chicks take the whole damn wardrobe to hospital, but its never enough! Cologne to the snoot though, I wish it caused him a coughing fit, which would have been so much more realistic to CF! CF lungs and perfumes aren't the best of friends! :D

IKR, I don’t have cf, but I do have a tracheostomy and severe lung problems due to scoliosis , and if it’s too musky I cough, in fact if my mother and I both wear perfume then get in the car together, I’m basically breathing in the perfume. The first time I ever wore “grown up” perfume i accidentally aimed it right in my trach, wow did that burn!!😂 Also I have a question are the rooms nice like this one? I once spent 4 months in the hospital and it was ..unpleasant and sterile and my sheets never stayed on. Nor did I have freedom to walk around like this

Hun? He’s famous yes, because he’s a well-known child actor, but his “acting” per se is underrated. Most people don’t even watch Riverdale because they have issues with the way it’s written - the lines aren’t always realistic which is a shame because the entire cast is actually underrated. They all have Emmy award potential but unfortunately the content doesn’t provide them with enough recognition.
TBH I only first went to see it because my friend mentioned going to it with his girlfriend and I was planning a double date with him, I found the book at Walmart and bought it and I read the first two pages then didn't touch the book for a few days not having much interest in it. I continued reading and I laughed, squealed, and cried while reading it in class and people gave me stares. Long story short I read the book 25 times and rewatched all these clips a bunch more, I am hyped for this movie and I'm going to see it with my boyfriend (he's not a huge fan of romance movies but I'm dragging him with me) so yeah that's my story.

So I have a severe lung disease as well and I don’t remember hospitals being this warm and cozy or having free reign. I don’t have cf but a rare disease for young people. Are the rooms nice and comfortable like it’s shown in this clip. Whenever I see movies with cancer patients or something severe like that, I see rooms that are nice and somewhat comfortable and NOT sterile looking. Is that realistic ? If so, so jealous
Mary Clark Sort of. Since they’re there more long term, they’re kinda allowed to decorate it more than normal. I’m really lucky and have only been in the hospital twice in my teen years so far. I hung up drawings all around my room.

This is the type of role that Cole can actually pull off, not jughead.
Nothing against him, I think he is a great actor, just my opinion
He pulls off Jughead really well despite the angsty teen parts, in Season 2 and 3 he has more emotion and I think that's what kind of makes it seem like he isn't fit for the role. Honestly Cole is more of a romance-type actor but hey, he's still great in any role!
