    Nice loco! I have a Juliet too and I love mine. Yours is painted and finished very well.
    What coal are you using?

    • @TomaszOsakowicz
      @TomaszOsakowicz  2 года назад +1

      Thank you Matt. I'm using Welsh anthracite.

      @@TomaszOsakowicz No worries and that's what I use. But find it takes a bit to light and not very much smoke from it. Have you tried the soft Welsh steam coal?

    • @TomaszOsakowicz
      @TomaszOsakowicz  2 года назад +1

      @Matt Seymour she has only been steamed twice. Once in a club and second time in my garden, both on anthracite. I've never tried anything else.

      @@TomaszOsakowicz That's fair and enough and worth trying other coals or mixing some together like 50/50 anthracite and steam coal.

      Hi. I've made it myself. Electric motor of ebay and scrap laying around the workshop.

    Im building a baker valve gear Juliet. I have also built the slip eccentric version.
    Appears to run better in forward gear which I have heard is normal for this version?

      Hi. Yes, it is a bit jerky in reverse, but I'm not sure if it's normal for baker version. Most Juliets are being build with Stephenson valve. Good luck with your build.
