I appreciate the option and the review. However, what makes the aputure and the godox different is the battery powered option for location portability.

I was after a lot lights lately, a lot... Like Sokani, godox's all versions, jinbei ef II, neewers and just searched between them until suddenly i run out on this video. Almost instantly I bought it and must say that I DO NOT HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS about it. I am very happy with a purchase. Thank you 😉

Curious as to your long term thoughts. The tightening screw on mine stripped out after a couple of months. Pixel is sending replacements, but will take 1 to 2 months to arrive. I took the light apart and was able to insert my own bolts and wingnut to tighten. Now I am having issues with the light shutting down when I increase the brightness with the remote or the knob on the back of the light.

Hey! How do you recommend using a collapsible beauty dish with one of
this lights? I am considering a beauty dish instead of the very popular
parabolic softboxes because of the depth. What do you think? Cheers

Another interesting light it this category is the Godox VL150 also the VL200 and VL300. If the specs and reviews are to be believed they’re even brighter, not a lot more and work with batteries!

I have. Use an UPS unit with at least 3,6A of electricity power. It is heavy but it is a battery. Pros of that is you can tie it around C-stand and it behaves like counter weight or sandbags 😊

2:46 Is there any similar solution you can buy separately? A generic one for other lights that has an adaptor similar to this? The cable between the light and the adaptor is too short on mine and it's annoying just dangling around in the air.
