3in Watts 009 Clean and check replacement

I take a part a 3in. watts 009 clean the inside and the #2 check. I replaced the #1 with a new check due to a lot of iron build up.

Great work. I do the same work and my hands always a few cuts all the time due to this type of work. I will be honest this model is not one of my favorite.

Thank you! Surprisingly a lot of sharp parts in backflow preventers. I also am not a big fan of this model.

You should get a pick set to take off old gaskets and o rings.

I would have done a total rebuild and replaced both checks. Might as since everything is removed and the assembly was completely full of dirt

I Agree. I wanted to replace the whole unit but they weren't wanting to spend the money.
