رغم شعبية الكركديه العالية، واستخدامه الواسع كمشروب أو علاج للضغط أو إضافة لون في الحلويات وغيرها، إلا أن زراعته في الغالب تتم في مساحات صغيرة، وينحصر توزيعه في كميات صغيرة كذلك. في هذا الفيديو نزور قطعة أرض صغيرة مزروعة بالكركديه ومشروع منزلي لتحضيره وسط عائلة في أسيوط، ثم عطار وبقال في الإسكندرية يطلب حمولة كركديه بكل بساطة من خلال مكالمة لأقاربه في أسوان. حضّر لنفسك كوب كركدية وتفضل معنا

Its vibrant red color is also useful in the production of other beverages and confections. Yet despite its prevalence, much of its cultivation and distribution remains small-scale, with some spice merchants sourcing directly from farmers.
