Even though I can easily afford Apple products, five years ago I made the decision to stop buying them. I feel much more liberated in terms of technology compatibility and I'm saving more money than ever.
After years of Samsung getting more and more evil, I finally got an iPhone. It will be my last Apple product. It's far better than the shitshow that Samsung Android phones were around the time of the Galaxy S6 and forward. But Apple is so out of line in so many ways. I'm looking to get something open-source-friendly and user-respecting like Librem, Pine, etc. for my next phone.

But if you go beyond class and think about consistent performance, quality, experience and above all security then customization etc is something many would give up. I was an apple trapped person And recently I realized how apple is trapping customers.
Newly there is no charger pins , some times no charger cable , also no hands free codes.. etc Everything had purchase separately. In the end they will say you had to buy the chip separately… 🥵🥵

The iPhone, the iPad, the macbook air, etc. There would've been more devices today that we can't even imagine of if Jobs was alive. His dream of an apple car has been left out (if you know) because Cook always was too late to step into new innovative technologies, the apple vision pro (also thought by Jobs) is now here but Cook slapped 'APple Principles' on it such that although it is revolutionary in tech, its pretty impractical for use and very exensive.
Cook is the best guy for the company for its success but not for the consumers.

I don’t know how side loading will work, because for someone (developer) to run an app on their phone using usb, you need a developer account which costs $100 annually. Maybe they will force apple to get rid of it.

Its not Android problem, its Apples intentional monopoly. And when you use apple wallet, you are forced to share your bank and personal information to Apple. In Samsung wallet, only bank and person is involved. Where is privacy?

@swapannandi8217 It's not saying other companies are becoming bad. It is saying other companies are good, but Apple makes other company look bad.
For example, for iMessage thing, Android phones can easily handle quality pictures, but Apple intentionally sends lower quality pictures to Android and costumer think when I receive pictures from Apple it is good, but if I receive from Android, it is grainy. This makes Apple user think Android is worse, so that they never move to Android. But that's not a fact, it's Apples fault.

When message is sent between iPhone it stays on Apple server so no issue but when sent to Android it compresses and that is because it goes through SMS and that is due to carrier restriction not Apple. It’s easy to just blame Apple for areas where they don’t have any control, please do some research before making such accusations and if you believe you have a valid case then sue Apple you would get rich.
I decided over 17 years back never to buy an apple product..I still stand by that decision and am very happy that people are waking up to the stupidity apple is playing in the market.

I think it’s high time we change our mentalities towards Apple. See, no one is forcing you to buy Apple products, it’s just that you want the better experience, so you’re paying more. Think of it like this, Samsung makes galaxy buds, and Apple makes Airpods. Now, you tell me which one works better? Galaxy buds with Samsung or Airpods with iPhones? Of course it’s Airpods with iPhones, because they are designed and integrated in that way! That’s why the experience is buttery smooth. Androids are there for years, but look at their gestures control systems, they are still not as refined as iPhones. Android gives more options, that’s good, but if you want the refinement, you need to close down and focus on particular thing, rather than giving out everything.
So according to you drugs should be legal? because no one forces you to buy so just dont buy? u are dumb bro, laws are just trying to save consumer laws like you should be able to use your hardware the way you want. (i.e. installing 3rd party apps)
