Matt and Adam are simply incomparable. They are both really good. I personally think Adam has a stronger voice (if you compare them from live performances). Matt sounds good in HIS own songs and Adam sounds good in HIS own songs. It’s simple

Have you not seen the performances between 2008 and 2010? Adam had the most legendary powerhouse live vocal anyone has ever seen. He will remain the highest form of vocal and songwriting legend that propelled this band to everything they are. One X is still their best and by far their most well know. album to this very day. And Adam wrote the entire thing in rehab. They are a shell without him. Matt does a great job with the tools he is given, he is a phenomenal singer and no one can take that away from him, but he has a VERY different sound. He makes it sound like a lighter type of rock. Barely heavier than my darkest days. but to pay more respect to the fans it would have been nice if they found someone who at least had a similar style to Adam.

He's forcing his voice in my opinion. He's trying to sound rough and raspy like Adam. Adam's voice can't be duplicated nor can any other rock singer. Most have rough, raspy voices and it fits perfectly. Matt forces his voice so much to sound like that.
Drum Games I have seen a claim out there and even heard audio of something that sounds like it came from sessions X that was Animal I Have Become but I don’t remember it at all when these videos were initially released. I don’t see the video for it so I don’t know if I should add this song when there is no hard material showing it came from Sessions X.

The thing is Matt's voice doesn't fit the grit and anger of Adam's songs. Adam has that raspiness to his voice. Very booming and powerful. Matt has a softer voice. But can do the screech screams alot better.
