You information is not quite accurate or correctly presented. I was born in Ukraine and I left in 1997 I never officially abandoned my Ukrainian citizenship , I simply never renewed my passport . I became a citizen of Canada in 2001. Recently I contacted Ukrainian Consulate and was advised that One NEVER loses his /her citizenship unless it is removed or the individual applied for the renunciation of citizenship I was told that I can freely apply for my Ukrainian passport and I will be granted one by birth. Always . No one told me to throw my Canadian passport out of the window. What you have probably ment is that a person may have dual citizenship but only ONE citizenship will be regarded as VALID when he /she crosses Ukrainian border. It also applies to those who would like to obtain Ukrainian citizenship via legal means ( marrieage etc) - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ABANDON your current citizenship. I hope I have clarified it a bit for others

I never officially abandoned my Ukrainian citizenship , I simply never renewed my passport .
I became a citizen of Canada in 2001.
Recently I contacted Ukrainian Consulate and was advised that One NEVER loses his /her citizenship unless it is removed or the individual applied for the renunciation of citizenship
I was told that I can freely apply for my Ukrainian passport and I will be granted one by birth.
You are correct. I am in an identical position to you and live in Ukraine that way. Go Canada go :) Ps. are you from Toronto? Feel free to subscribe to my channel :)

I am English and married to a Ukrainian, living in kharkiv. If I take Ukrainian citizenship I lose my British citizenship and pension. I think it works differently with almost every country having it's own arrangements
@@Olga_Reznikova I don't understand your question.. I assume the gentleman above me was born in Ukraine (as was I), so he should have his Ukrainian birth certificate, and he must have been registered at an address before leaving Ukraine. With a Ukrainian birth certificate and proof of registration (it doesn't even have to be active, can be expired registration) from a ЦНАП he can get a Ukrainian ID passport in a month or so. Ta-da he is a citizen of Ukraine and another country :)
I like your beautiful country and beautiful girl

Stay home.
Yes
@@georgenicolas2297 Yes it is cold in winter but a lot of the apartments get heating from a central boiler and it works very well and it is included in your maintenance charge which is a small amount . The cold is not so bad , it's a dry cold so wear the right clothes and you are o.k

....Some of us....want to get Ukrainian citizenship.....!!
Yes
@Olga Reznikova You've definitely provided a lot of information here, and I notice you've uploaded a ton of videos talking about how to become a Ukrainian citizen, how to immigrate to Ukraine, how to start a business in Ukraine, how to date Ukrainian women and so much more! Your information is certainly valuable to some.
It sounds like a great option in some ways, to move to Ukraine and gain Ukrainian citizenship, and to meet and spend time with these beautiful Ukrainian women. I really hope you read my comment, because I have one question that is really important to me that you answer, and it probably means a lot to a lot of people here too, and helps to understand you better as a person, and a person on RUclips:
Why do you make these videos encouraging immigration and foreign entry / residence in Ukraine? Can you tell me a bit about you and your RUclips channel and why you do what you do?
I think you're so influential to many people, and I want to what makes you do the difficult work that you do! :)
I am not encouraging people to move, but I am sharing information about those topics, because this is what many people ask.
Most of my video topics, except the first ones on a very beginning if my channel, always are answers on the most popular questions from my viewers
Hae I love 💕 you were mach
American embassy ain't saving you from shit. It's funny how people think the embassy will fly them out in a helicopter for free every time they do something stupid on vacation.
Its Nice informative video...but drop one citizenship n adopt another is not the good choice...regards
Yes. Better to keep your original citizenship even if you do have a permanent residence permit
