Good advice, fam. I typically squat at least twice weekly. In my gym not many ppl mess with it. IT IS THE MOST IMTIMIDATING of all the lifts. But like you said, if you're afraid of it, then you've got to attack it. Good stuff. 👍🏾

King, the knee piece just changed the game for me, I was going straight down 8:32 versus shooting then outward. I find my knee would hurt going straight down! You’re a genius Mike! Thank You ✊🏾

Hey Mike, I just want to say THANK YOU! For all that you do. About 3yrs back I watch a video you had SQUAT EVERY DAY! And I used your philosophy to build and increase my squat. There was a day and time where 225lbs was heavy AF! Not after a warm up of 155lbs for 40reps and 4working sets of 315lbs for 8reps is where I am at today I am doing 225lbs for 20reps. Light AF! Thanks to you. I just started at 225lbs each day for 4 sets of 3reps and every week I will increase by 2 reps once it becomes easy. Sometimes it may take 2 or 3 weeks before I increase. Today I am at 315lbs for 4 set of 8reps ass to grass. Had a set back during covid and lost 18 lbs majority of muscle because my body fat is very low, around 9 10% so I had to start all over again using your philosophy. Just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN!

I'd like to see more discussion on the "big breath"..could be some confusion there. It's not a chest breath but a breath into the belly filling it with air making it nice and hard; bracing the core and stabilizing the spine. And if a belt is present, pressing the stomach into the belt for more stabilization. Great video! Sending this to my clients. Loveit

If I see someone throwing all the 45s in the gym on the leg press but I didn’t see them squat at all I go OUT MY WAY to ensure I revoke as many 45s from that machine as I can. I’ll keep asking for a plates til they gotta settle on lesser weight.

I have always felt like squatting was that most hated exercise to do being very timid of it, however I’ve always been in life active in the gym seldomly doing them. I have been feeling the pressure especially getting older that I want to be @ a healthy aesthetic physique incorporating at least 10 body squats after every other set and now I’m jump squatting more with explosiveness through the roof. I am also feeling a more of balance as I go for my walks now. This video came & a perfect time cause it actually is a sign and I’ve felt better than I have in my younger years active in the gym and it’s actually more addictive especially the results it produces so like always Cousin Mike I appreciate your content. Would you be so kind to do a video on home calf workouts? I don’t go to the gym considering I have my own equipment i normally use body weight or hold the dumbbells, whatever content would be appreciated…pardon the paragraph God

You don’t need to do barbell squats to grow big quads. That is a total misconception! Most ifbb pros I see now a days do most of there leg work on smith machines, the hip sled, leg extensions, Bulgarian split squat’s, hack squats, lunges ect. I could go on for days on how many other alternative exercises there are for growing your wheels! I have nothing against barbell squats, but there are people out there that physically cannot do them because of injuries or postural distortions! If your somebody that can do them I would most def have them in your leg workout routine!
