    The question that comes to mind is, if Joel's method is indeed more efficient and at the same time produces a far better quality that what is commonly available, then why don't larger corporations just copy it?

    This kind of farming will put the industry out of work. So there will be a lot of resistance to make this the new model. Just as the fossil fuel industry puts on the brakes for us to move to a different future.

    • @benjaminpitts7254
      @benjaminpitts7254  3 года назад +3

      I agree that the industry would certainly be disrupted if this ancestral way of farming grew much larger, but might there be many institutions that need reworking in our country in order for us to survive and thrive?

      @@benjaminpitts7254 can you see Bill gates farming this way? He backs Monsanto & Biggest farm landowner. There be a big resistance from them, the small guy will have some too.

    We can green the Sahara and make it productive again with this, so of course can we feed the world this way. The degeneration path is what will make the world hungry.

    • @leelindsay5618
      @leelindsay5618 3 года назад

      Re-greening the sahara would best begin with Allan Savory's AMP grazing, then the animal prepared farm areas can begin with Regenerative practices and Soil Health Principles. Yes, it would have to start at the edges, but it could spread quickly.

    • @Gustav4
      @Gustav4 3 года назад

      @@leelindsay5618 yes I have studied HM for 5 years, it is the only way because this is not only a problem with the land but also social and economical complexities, and if people learn and follow the entire HM framework, then they will know how to deal with all 3 complexities, like a country with a lot of conflict and disagreements, you need to address that as well somehow and HM can do that. HM can stop all conflicts and wars in the world.

    • @Gustav4
      @Gustav4 3 года назад
