I like the wooden spoon method. Cut pomegranate in half. Hold cut side down in hand over deep bowl. Smack the peel side repeatedly with the back of the spoon. The seeds fall out into the bowl.
@@davidweigel2506 Yes, this might just be a matter of taste. I have tried all methods of how to open a pomegranate. This video is the result and this technique is the fastest and gentlest with no spilling! Greetings, Rita
From the web: I love how apples are just like "Here I am" and pomegranates are like "You must first pass three trials of strength, wisdom, and courage".
The neighbor 2 houses down had a tree and I know I helped myself a few times as a child. It seems the ripe ones split open on their own and we did the rest with our hands that probably ended up with purple/black stains. I've never eaten one since. Oh, and he used to give them as "treats" on Halloween 🙁
Lucky you, there are no pomegranate trees growing in our latitudes, unfortunately. Here you can only find them in the grocery store. A beautiful story, thanks a lot! 🌷🌸🌹🌺
Thank you for the valuable information. Unfortunately, you do not always know where the pomegranates come from. But I would also like to try them from Kandahar! But how do you open pomegranate in Afghanistan?
@@PureRita Almost same as explained in video with a slight difference at the end. In Afghanistan, pomegranate seeds are dropped by hitting the back of the skin of them with a wooden spoon.
Way too complicated - just cut a circle around the top vs a star and then down each membrane, Remove the core, Turn it over and hitit with a wodden spoon and the seeds fall. out
Try this technique and write me if it works! Or, how do you open and seed a pomegranate? ❤🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼
