Full Moon and Clouds

- The light of a bright Moon, filtered through thin cloud, is a beautiful and underrated sight. Silvery light, delicate blues and tans, dancing in front of and around a glowing orb.
You can see it for your self, with simple binoculars or a rich-field telescope. You don't need to magnify a whole lot.
I've tried to capture what it can look like with this hastily-shot sequence of video clips. First time I've ever tried. Didn't quite get the settings right. And I'm not completely convinced a camera ever can capture the full wonder of this view. The human eye can simultaneously pick out the wide range of brightnesses and tones so much better than a camera sensor. The gentle wisps of faint cloud, and the blazing bright face of the Full Moon, and the delicate colour, can better be appreciated 'all in one go' by the eye than by a camera that has to struggle not to over- or under-expose within a limited tonal range. Still, I wanted to try to share at least some portion of the beauty if I could.
Something peaceful and slow to enjoy on a lazy Sunday!
Boring tech detail: Sony A7Sii, Televue Genesis 100mm f/5 refractor. Video sped up by 4x.
