In general, this is a temporary solution for when one of the batteries fails. I've had situations where the batteries oxidized and I didn't have a spare on hand. Temporarily applying this solution really works

You don't need to shake and roll and play with and move around each piece you're about to use. It actually makes it more difficult to see what it is, as now we have to focus on this tiny piece that's covered mostly by your fingers moving all over the place...not to mention it's extremely annoying.
