It's nice that you met up with Venus :) I think a lot of people won't give her a chance because there is drama surrounding her and judge her without really knowing her, which is really such a shame!!

I'm really glad Venus is making friends and becoming more of an actual person. I don't care what anyone thinks of Venus. I feel like I have a lot in common with Venus, so therefore I understand her. And I myself am misunderstood A LOT. Venus has been through hell. And she is a very strong woman. 💕
I'm glad someone agrees! I thought, regardless of what ppl think of her she is human and might be lonely living in Japan even if it was her dream to live there. Like Taylor said it can be lonely living in a foreign country so I'm glad they reach out to each other and give each other company

I agree. when she used to live her mom, she wouldn't allow Venus to make friends and interact with other youtubers. Venus was basically a slave.
I just did a workout for the first time in a long time, and got some oatmeal and orange juice ready for breakfast... And I just took a shower and hopped into bed to relax and eat, when I see a Taylor video in my notifications. Perfect timing, this day is going really well so far lol

I'm getting a tattoo soon! I lost my dad 10 years ago and my mom last October. I'm getting their handwriting like the way they finished letters to me. The letters I picked from them my dad signed it maybe someday we will meet at the lamppost and my mom be a good girl I love you. Both will be signed love mom and love dad! Second, I am so happy that you not only are accepting of Venus, but that you made an effort to show you wanted to be real friends and were not just using her for views by not showing her in the video. Given it was the first time you two had hung out, I'm sure she was grateful to you for doing your work while still showing you wanted to get to know her and actually hang out together.

I am so glad you gave Venus a chance. I think most people are too quick to judge her based on the little amount of information she was willing to share surrounding the drama about her in general. It's quite sad actually. Hopefully more people give her a chance after this.

It's so sad how Venus is being treated. Taylor's channel has always been a peaceful place. Now just because she made a new friend everyone is saying very terrible things. Yea Venus' channel deals with drama but not because of Venus. Just a lot of mean people who enjoy drama. It's so crazy all the complaining is because of some nasty rumors. I ACTUALLY LOVE VENUS' REAL VOICE THAT I HEARD IN THIS VLOG BETTER THAN HER "MADE UP" VOICE THAT SHE USUALLY DOES! The same with Taylor's real voice and pronounciation in 2016 vs her voice in 2015, i love the 2016 version better~
If you watch venus's newer videos you'll see that she doesn't have a "made up" voice
She's never used a fake voice, she's just not in front of a camera. Anyone who's in front of a camera broadcasts their personality very clearly but that'd obviously be annoying and unrealistic in day to day life.
She's never used a fake voice when she was younger (13 is when a lot of her popular vids were made) her voice was just a bit higher pitched then it is now
I think she just grow up, when you`re younger your voice is much more different especially when you talk in another language.When I talk in japanese my voice is more "nasal voice" in English is weird like I`m trying to be more girly and spanish is sound like a dude lol

It's really nice to see Venus out or in an updated vlog. It's been a while since I've seen one of her videos. Personally, I like Venus, and for me, she's not being fake like some (or most people) say, she's just being herself or is helping herself to be in a more cheerful way. You guys gotta stop making someone feel miserable thru saying "Oh, she's here, I don't want to watch this video." or "Taylor shouldnt be friends with her".. First, it's their choice and you cant do anything about it. Second, this is a chance for her (Venus) to be more out in the world, unlike what her mother said before that "she's only thinking about her boyfriend" or whatnot. Lastly, stop pointing fingers to people. A lot of people are fake in many kinds, it just depends on how people think or see it. ANYWAYS. I feel happy for Venus that she met Taylor because in my perspective, Tay is a very cheerful person and that she can help Venus on some things. (of course, when they get to know each other more.) :D
So cool. I noticed that in Japan the shop owners like carry your bag to the door and give it to you as you leave. As if you're leaving their house and they're giving you a gift. Japan's appreciation for hospitality and service is cool.

I agree with you on recommending fall for travel. I was in Tokyo and Osaka/Kyoto/Nara in November last year. Perfect weather! Mostly sunny days, cool temperatures, and it was perfect to be walking around all day and not getting hot. Unlike Canada, the trees in that area in November are still very leafy and colorful.

Hi Tay, the oatmeal butter thing is usually used to rub on wet skin like a normal soap bar. I was going to do the same thing, but the person at lush advised me on how to use it.😁🦄✨

Because the people that have seen the phony "exposed" video are flooding in. They don't research and assume everything that was in the video is the truth.
Because there have been a lot of reports from former ans who were treated with disrespect and rudeness from both Venus and her mother.
You need to check the exposed video since there is a photo of venus lies doesnt match at all...
Her mother may have abused her (again we cannot say that for definite as it is one side against the other - note I'm not saying she wasn't and I am not saying she was) but that doesn't give her the right to be rude and disrespectful to people (if she was rude and disrespectful again it's one person's version to another's - I'm trying to be impartial as much as I can here xD). I'm personally not a fan and the reason being is she just isn't my cup of tea.
Orly ?? I didn't say it wasn't as bad in fact I have been a victim of verbal and emotional abuse (thankfully not physical) but I know that mental scars are some of the worst.
But none of us where there so no. No one can 100% if it happened. Like I said I'm not saying it didn't but nor will I say it did there are two sides to every story and I have read the posts and see nothing that can be considered hateful nor threats. Yes there was some anger there and there are accusations of stealing but unless I am missing things it just looks like a family feud.
Favourite area in Tokyo... hard to say. I used to live near Nishi-koyama. So.. that makes me feel at home when I think of how I went shopping there (be it clothes or grocery), up to Musashi-koyama.
Also just spending some time near the river at Futako-tamagawa.
