Is this supposed to work on an iMac running 10.5.8? I can't get it to work. I really want to create a bootable USB from an .iso file but nothing seems to work on this OS. I tried Etcher and no version is compatible. I looked for alternatives and none seem to work either. Please help!

Hi, great video. I have mounted the windows.iso to my pen-drive. Now the problem is that my Macbook cannot read the USB anymore. It says"The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." your advice on this issue would be highly appreciated.
hit and hold shift key button on your keyboard then hit the key button that's above tab key, the curly character you look for is next to number 1 key on left which is under esc key, so hold down shift and hit the key button that's 3 key buttons up above the shift key.
I had this same issue, I googled a bit and found an answer for my problem. You can’t have any spaces in the file name of the iso, and no unusual characters. For example, mine had parentheses that I had to take out. So I changed mine from Windows 7 Ultimate (64 Bit).iso to simply Windows7.iso. I realize this is probably too little too late but I hope it helps anyone who comes here with the same issue!
Colby Shyne when you type the password, do not expect the cursor or pointer to keep moving after every character you type, like how it usually happens when we type a password. Just type out your password and press enter, although the pointer is at the same position. Worked for me. If this still doesn’t work, may be you need to restart the process from the start or try googling for the exact issue. Apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Hi, why can't you just open Disk Utility select ISO and restore to USB?
I completed all the steps but now, when I insert the USB drive back in, it doesn't show up in the computer on MAC.
Yeah, you have to erase everything on the USB in order for it to work again, same thing happened to me.

I mounted the file to a 2TB external hard drive, now I cannot locate or see the other files on my external hard drive. Did I erase those files?
