My search for the first two official UEFA EURO Video Games led me to Champions of Europe (Master System) and UEFA EURO 96 England (Saturn).
My goal is to win the tournament in each game to impress my friends. You'll get to see their verdict / punishment later in the video. It scarred me for life!
Champions of Europe was developed and published by Tekmagic for Master System in the year 1992.
UEFA EURO 96 England was developed by Gremlin Interactive and published by Sega for the Saturn in the year 1996.

Great review!😁 I have and played both games, yes 92 is very rough to say the least, and 96, I know is not best, and a bit difficult control and rough for today standards I but still like it, maybe a bit because of nostalgia for Actua Soccer that I played back in the day and is basically same game. Anyway great and fun video!😁

That menu from Champions of Europe is the worst design decision ever. Nice video and, while I'm not the biggest fan of fútbol (a weird thing being Argentinian :P), Im happy that you dedicate a video to these games. It shows you have great love for the sport.

The game still is pretty bad, especially against International Victory Goal which is a launch game (also with a killer soundtrack).

I remember playing Fifa 96 on the Megadrive and a game called European Club Soccer back then.
Brother you need to play Uefa Champions league 2000/2001. My favourite football game ever. Change the gameplay speed. Literally from a goalkick you can so a bycicle kick from midfield and score

MediEvil - first played the Demo over and over. Later got it for christmas. Never finished it though.
Rayman - Played through it like 5 years ago but didn't go for 100%. Insanely difficult but I love the soundtrack.
Resident Evil - My dad bought it in the late 90s but we didn't like it. Haven't played it since.
Oh I've also played Tomba/Tombi!

Of all the unrealistic things about Champions of Europe, Germany losing on penalties is the most outlandish and ridiculous of them all.
But, on the other hand... the lack of goalmouth action was very much Euro 92.
