Yes, I love it here. Thank you. I live in sanford, good for me. Ashley tried to go to growin green in Nashville NC is a long drive, but is worth it. They have the best price ever seen for rare plant.
Hey Ashley, I'm here wishing we had a Big Bloomers in Sydney but hopefully will try and find our equivalent(s) hahaha. Loved your haul esp the Anthurium hybrid....the Luxurians has been a wishlist plant of mine for the longest time so would settle for one like yours any day! Thanks for sharing 👏🏼🤩
10:15. I just found Hoya Rosita at Home Depot last Saturday. They were in small thin plastic pots from Proven Winners! $5.95 a pot. I bought 2 and repotted them together. You should have seen the roots on both of them!!! So healthy and bright white. Insane.
Yeah I find everything here very overpriced too compare to retail. I’m hoping they are actually distributors for other stores and not only relying for sales from consumers because it doesn’t seem competitive at all
What a great idea to stroll the warm greenhouses on a winter’s day. I just bought a White Knight Philo in a 4 inch pot for $9.98 at my local Star Nursery! It was a shocker.
Great video...the other day I went grocery shopping and had to walk over and lookcat the plants ,of course they had just got in some tropical plants no names just said tropicals twenty dollars ...well 😮 there she was in all of her beauty in the back it was a Thai constellation monstera deliciosa fair size with a new leaf which looks mostly white ...twenty dollars she followed me home
Oh what I would give to have a store like that near me.... I did learn the hard way that just because a cactus looks fuzzy doesn't mean it doesn't leave some ouchies behind lol I either want thornless or huge enough I can't miss em' 😊
I would have lost my mind at that plant shop, wow! 😂 Love your plant haul, the Hoya Obovata is a wishlist plant for me and i can't believe the size 😮 Also, that Anthurium is amazing and what a cute Euphorbia! Thanks for a great video Ashley 😊🪷💖
Oh my goodness, I would hate to think I was going to Big Bloomers and only had a budget of $75.00 😢 I could have spent easily $750.00 there. What an awesome plant nursery. I could have spent all day there. Heaven on earth.
Wow!! Excellent prices! The Michaelmolleira Vietnamensis is a violet in a class all to itself. It is endangered in the wild. Beautiful plant with spots that almost glow. The blooms are large and purple. I have a big one that I just love.
Love love love the plants in this shop. I would love two of them so far. I would love shop there. Thanks. I have been watching you since you first began and I have learned so much with you. ❤ 😊
Love this video. I never knew there was such a plant as a Dragon Hoys, I love it. That is really a wonderful nursery, you could get lost in there, looking at everything.
Oh my goshhhh!!! What an amazing tour! Thank you for sharing. I'm in Northern California and have never seen a majority off these plants. You are so lucky!!
When I lived in Florida, I had two huge staghorn ferns one was about 8 feet in diameter and the other was about 45 feet in diameter and I just hung them in my palm trees and they just loved it and when I moved back to North Carolina I had to sell them because I couldn’t get them in a truck so I sold them for $60. Each made me sick to my stomach but I didn’t have a choice😢
I can see why you get so breathless and excited Sunday the 10 th is my birthday and plants are what I'm getting myself I'm very jealous that I don't have a place like that I'm very happy for you tho lol and I do appreciate you taking us there I don't see how you can stick to a budget I love that Hoya and the cactus you got great video
Hi Ashley, love this video and love Big Bloomers! Many thanks for sharing all this beauty with us. I thought their Hoyas looked healthy and beautiful and that their prices were good. You picked up a great haul! Great job! 👌🪴🥰
I collect Owls 🦉and I have a little Owl pot, I never have any luck with Catus or Succulents , but I'm going to try putting a Leaf 🍃 in my little Owl. Thanks for sharing once again.
Did you ever find the plant you were looking for, that had like raindrops on the leaves? So Happy to see you showing the cactus, hardly anyone shows them, usually just the huge leafed plants.
Oh, my gosh!! Don't think I could have held out as long as you did!! I just love your enthusiasm and your voice is so pleasant to listen to!! Thanks for an awesome tour!!❤❤
Ashley! Everytime you post a video from Big Bloomers, I'm soooo jelly (NC always seems to have the best plant options/inventory). I finally got a chance to go there. Last month, on my way back from VA. It was pouring rain but OMG! I loved it. Bought way too much. I'll definitely be heading back there.
Hi Ashley I love this store, it’s awesome you have time to show us their inventory and I think I wouldn’t go to a store with very little budget, well… with a budget 😂 I’m crazy about plants as well ❤ and let me tell you I watch your videos few times sometimes because sometimes I feel I miss their names and I make my own wish list en especially if I have lost a plant and I want it again. There are some that I am determined to have them when after having them I killed them… I think we learn from mistakes 😮so I try to address my plant from a different angle ❤️🔥 thank you so much for letting us know also where to find this place, I’m 9 hours driving south from me… and wouldn’t mind ❤❤❤❤❤
I would’ve broke the budget for sure. I’d get those 3 Anthuriums, (who cares we already have a Veitchii!), several of the Hoyas, 2 pepperoni, the Cardboard Palm.. Etc…🌿🌱😀💚
I screamed😂 when you said you said "I'm never going to make it out of here." That is what I say to , I would have been there 5 hours easy. I would get all my steps in without even feeling it. We could never plant shop together, we would both be flipping out with excitement.
They say money 💰can't buy happiness, but it can buy plants🪴, and that's pretty much the same thing. Throw in some wine 🍷and shopping 🛍, and you've got a relaxing plantvideo
Why did I think you lived in NY? I want to visit NC so bad. Seen pics and so beautiful and you have such a great big plant shop varieties that we don’t have in Colorado
Just an idea for consideration: live streaming a Big Bloomers shopping visit, so that as you are looking at stuff, viewers can chime in live with feedback on anything rare you should consider getting.
What a great nursery! I have a Monstera lechleriana variegated. They are a fun one. Beautiful variegation, easy to prop, size up SUPER quick, and they become fenestrated as the climb.
Bought a tortum from there I was so sad..it died 2 days later..but rest of my plants from bloomers have faired very well. Bloomers is my most favorite place..been going there for years. That place is very dangerous! Lol.. you will spend lots of money if not careful!

In addition to hybridizing gesneriads (the plant family that AV's, streps, episcias, etc. are in), they own and operate a mail order nursery in New York. Columnea, nematanthus, and aeschynanthus are also in the gesnariad family. Nematanthus (goldfish plant) usually have shiny leaves and have the goldfish-looking flowers. Columnea's leaves aren't shiny and they have elongated flowers. Sometimes growers will mislabel a nematanthus as a columnea.
Those granules your'e talking bout, could you please tell me what they are called???? I'm in Alberta Canada, we can't get all the things in Canada that you do. But sure would like to know the name of the granules.?????

Thanks for taking us plant shopping. 💚😎💚
My pleasure 😊
Oh my goodness, I would have to arrive the moment they opened so I could take all day looking at everything.
Yes!!
And have lunch brought in! 😊
Don't remove the lower shields of the platycerium. They die and wrap themselves around the roots to conserve moisture.
Thanks for the tip!

The amazing elephant ear staghorn fern is definitely a high humidity plant and can be grown in a wire basket or slab.

So true!
That made me laugh too! My husband, even when we go to the plant section at Walmart, he just goes straight to the patio chairs and takes a seat 😂
I would love to see your succulent and cactus, rhipsalis collection.
I have one of those aglaonema Dalmation 6" pot, 34:07) over 2 years, north window. It is a tough cookie. It likes to dry out between waterings.

Right?!
Alls I can say is WOW and good thing I don't live closer lol

Yes, I believe your fern is a fern of the staghorn genus. Platycerium is the name of that genus.
Thanks for the tip!
I got a zz zenzi for 15 the other day and I am thrilled!
Great find!
Freaking Hoya heaven! Super fun!!!!

the euphorbia obesa monstruosa you got, looks very interesting Part of it looks like a person reaching out of the pot!😄

Hi, Great Videos and Tours❤. Do they have online store?
Unfortunately no
Great choices for sure. I see how that would be hard to choose.

What should be done when bringing a new plant home (don't want fungus Gnats
I have the last plant you showed for $2.95 from Home Depot. Be careful not to overrated and they like full sun.
Your expressions 🤣 crack 🤣 me up!
I wouldn’t be able to stick to a $75 plant budget there..I would take all three of those Anthuriums. I love Luxurians x’s…or Radican x’s
It was TOUGH
